소월시의 감각 연구

The Study of Sense of Kim So Wol’s Poetry

본고는 김소월 시에 나타난 감각을 연구한 것이다. 한국 시사에서 감각을 시로 처음 표현한 것은 소월이라고 할 수 있다. 그는 최초의 근대 시인이었고 그의 그런 위치에서 여러 부분들을 실험할 수도 있고, 이를 어떤 의미있는 작품 세계를 만들어낼 수도 있는 위치에 있었다. 하지만 그것이 한 시인을 절대적인 위치에 올려놓은 충분조건은 아니며, 우리가 소월을 주목하게 되는 이유도 그러한 조건들이 제시하지 못했던 부분들에 대해서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있어야 한다는 점이다. 소월이 활동했던 1920년대란 이성의 전능 시대이다. 그리고 그 도구적 발현이 제국주의였고, 여기서 어느 누구도 자유로운 존재는 아무도 없었다. 소월이 살았던 시대가 바로 그런 사회였는데, 그의 시들이 천착해나갔던 부분도 이 부분이다. 소월은 그것을 육체나 혼의 죽음으로 이해하거나 어느 하나의 결핍에 의한 다른 것의 불구성으로 판단해 왔다. 그것은 부조화의 세계이며, 이런 지배하에 놓인 시인이란 불활성의 존재로 남아 있을 수밖에 없었다. 그가 자신의 주변 환경을 무덤이나 죽은 육체로 대치한 것은 이와 밀접한 관련이 있다. 이렇게 죽어있는 육신이나 조국, 혹은 환경을 살리기 위해서 그가 할 수 있었던 것은 이를 원래의 상태로 되돌리는 일이었바, 그는 그것을 감각의 부활에서 찾고자 했다. 그것이 이 시기 그의 시가 갖는 의의라 할 수 있다.

This paper is a study of the sensations that appeared in Kim Sowol s poem. In Korean current affairs, it can be said that Sowol was the first to express the senses with poetry. He was the first modern poet and was in a position to experiment with various parts in his position and to create some meaningful world of works. However, that is not a sufficient condition to put a poet in an absolute position, and the reason why we pay attention to Sowol is that we must be able to find the meaning of the parts that such conditions could not present. The 1920s, when Sowol was active, is the era of the omnipotence of reason. And the instrumental manifestation was imperialism, where no one was free. Sowol lived in such a society, and this is the part of his poems. Sowol has understood it as the death of the body or soul, or judged it as the impairment of another by lack of one. It is a world of incongruity, and the poet under such rule was bound to remain inactive. It is closely related to this that he replaced his surroundings with a grave or dead body. What he could do to save his dead body, his country, or his environment was to return it to its original state, and he sought to find it in the resurrection of his senses. That is the significance of his poems during this period.
