Formation and Genealogy of Plain Coarse Pottery

突帶文土器를 통한 無文土器時代 早期의 設定으로 무문토기 성립의 양상이 조금씩 구체화 되기 시작하는데, 그 성립과정은 지역마다 차이가 있었던 것 같다. 嶺南地域의 경우 서북 계통의 돌대문토기가 두드러지지만 양 지역의 기종구성은 다르며, 이와 공반되는 二重口椽鋸齒文(點列文) 土器는 在地 櫛文土器의 傳統을 이어오고 있다. 또 東北型石刀·兩刃의 伴月刑石刀·圓錐形紡錘車 등에서 東北地域의 문화도 받아들였다. 따라서 영남지역은 서북·동북지역의 영향과 더불어 在地的 傳統도 어우러져서 무문토기문화가 성립되었던 것이다. 이와 달리 可樂洞植土器를 통해 본 錦江流域은 문양이나 기종구성 등에서 서북지역과 일치하고 있어 주민의 이주를 논할 수 있을 것이다. 반면, 江陵 校洞遺蹟을 통해 본 嶺東地域은 서북지역의 영향도 있지만 두만강유역과 강한 관련성을 보인다. 한편, 大洞江流域의 팽이형토기문화는 남한 무문토기의 성립에 그다지 관여하지 못하였으며, 漣川 三巨里遺蹟에서 그 영향이 보이는데 지리적으로 인접하였기 때문일 것이다. 결국 남한 무문토기문화의 성립은 북한의 어느 한 지역의 영향으로 일률적으로 성립한 것이 아니라 각 지역별로 계통을 달리하여 성립했다.

The early stage established by pottery with attached design is taking concrete shape. It is the point of an argument that northwestern people brought about plain coarse pottery culture in South Korea. But pottery composition of the early stage in Youngnam was different from northwestern province, double mouth rim pottery with saw-teeth was native pottery, somewhat received northeastern culture. That is, plain coarse pottery culture of the early stage in Youngnam was formed three factor, northwestern, northeastern native culture. The basin of the Gum River coincide with northwestern province in archaeological aspect. Therefore dwellers might move. Yongdong(Gyodong) strongly connected with northeastern province. While pottery resembled top of Daedong River did not take part in the beginning of plain coarse pottery culture in South Korea. In conclusion, plain coarse pottery culture in South Korea was brought into existence on different genealogy in every province.
