Identity and Space composition of Hwangsung Dong Group at Three-Hans Period

기존의 진ㆍ변한 문화에 대한 연구는 통시적, 포괄적 입장에서의 편년 혹은 특성에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 하지만 이 시기의 실체를 구체적으로 밝히기 위해서는 단위집단에 대한 연구가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 본고는 삼한시대의 개별집단에 대한 기초연구로서 당시의 고고학적 자료가 풍부한 경주 황성동일대의 유적을 대상으로 하였다.경주 황성동유적은 분묘구역과 생산구역 그리고 주거구역이 공간 구획되어 조성된 유적이다. 황성동유적에서 철생산이 이루어졌던 시기는 신라가 성립되기 전단계인 진변한시기(삼한시대)에 속한다. 대규모 철기생산의 존재를 통해 삼한사회의 有力集團이 어떠한 배경으로 철생산을 장악하고 그것을 바탕으로 소국을 통합하여 국가형태로 전개시켰는지를 파악할 수 있는 중요한 유적이다.본고에서는 출토유물이 양호하게 잔존하는 황성동유적의 분묘자료를 통해 유물과 유구를 중심으로 획기를 파악해 단계를 설정하고, 주거와 제철은 분묘의 단계설정과 상호 대비해 단계 설정해 보았다. 단계설정 결과, 분묘는 4단계, 주거는 2단계, 제철은 4단계로 각 단계 설정할 수 있었다. 이를 종합하여 황성동유적을 크게 12기로 구분할 수 있었고 그 획기의 주요한 배경에는 제철생산이 관계하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 제철생산체계 변화의 주요인은 외부로부터의 선진기술의 이입을 상정할 수 있었으며 그 결과로 주거와 분묘에서 획기를 가지는 것으로 파악되었다. 황성동 1기에서 2기로의 변화는 철원료의 원활한 공급망을 형성한 집단의 황성동유적의 장악과 크게 관련된다는 것을 분묘ㆍ주거ㆍ제철의 구체적인 양상을 바탕으로 추론할 수 있었다. 이러한 제철생산단지를 배경으로 경제적 성장을 이룬 집단이 삼한소국을 복속할 수 있는 정치적 권력을 가질 수 있었다고 파악되었다. 그 세력을 구체적으로 탈해집단으로 추정해 보았다.

I study how burials, dwellings and production system co-relate and change, then suppose the causes of a change with basis of outside or inside circumstance of JinㆍByunhan societies at that time. It is a examining measure that first I hold an epoch in center of relics, ruins and set up a phase. Comparing dwelling and production of an iron with burial, I will create a stage. In consequence of this stages, burial has 4 steps, dwelling has 2 steps, producing an iron has 4 steps. Integrating these, Hwangsung dong site is divided with 1ㆍ2 stage, the main circumstance of a epoch is related to producing a steel. I think that a important factor of changes about production system is a inflow of futuristic technology from Nakrang. I presume the changes between 1 and 2 stage is to hold Hwangsung dong group which has a network for the supply with an iron and is connected with a specific aspect of burials, dwellings and productions. Therefore basing on area producing an iron, Hwangsung dong unifies the small states of Three-Hans. I definitely suggest that the group is Talhae.
