鐵鏃과 鐵鉾로 본 新羅, 加耶 그리고 倭

A study on the interaction among the Silla, Gaya, and Wae through the ironᜭarrowhead and ironᜭspearhead

본 논문은 鐵鏃 및 鐵鉾를 대상으로 영남지방 원삼국~삼국시대의 변천과 특성을 살펴보고 이를 토대로 北方地域(낙랑, 고구려)과 日本列島(倭)에서 출토된 자료의 병행관계를 검토하였다. 특히 이를 통하여 5세기 전반 신라와 왜, 5세기 후반 대가야와 倭의 관계에 대해서 논의하였다. 5세기 전반 日本列島에 신라계 철모를 비롯한 문물이 이입되고 신라권역에 日本列島의 수장묘에 부장되는 철촉이 이입된다. 이는 신라와 倭가 지속적으로 적대적 관계였다고 보는 관점과 상치되는 것으로, 당시 國際社會가 복잡하게 전개되었던 것으로 보인다. 그리고 5세기 후반 日本列島에 대가야계 철촉과 철모가 이입되고, 대가야를 중심으로 한 가야지역에 日本列島의 위세품적 성격의 철촉이 집중되고 있다. 이는 특히 이 시기 내륙에 위치한 대가야가 새로이 日本列島와의 교류의 창구로 대두한 것을 반영하는 것으로 보인다. 이러한 여러 정황을 볼 때 삼국시대의 고구려-신라와 백제-가야-왜라는 單線的 관계로 설정한 기왕의 연구 성과는 지양하여야 할 것이며, 이와 같은 시각에서 탈피하여 시간의 흐름에 따라 전개되는 복잡한 국제정세를 통한 다각적인 검토가 기대된다.

This study considered the diachronic transition and the features of iron-arrowhead and iron-spearhead which are dated from proto-three kingdom age to three kingdom age. Based on the this examination, the parallel relation of artifacts excavated from the north region(Nak-rang, Gogurye) and japanese archipelago(倭). This study focused mainly on the interaction between Silla and Wae in the first half of the 5th century, Daegaya and Wae in the latter half. Iron-spearhead and another artifacts originated from Silla are founded in japanese archipelago in the first half of the 5th century and in the case of japanese iron-arrowhead vice versa. These aspects are opposing evidence against the established studies and show the complicated international relationship among them. In the latter half of the 5th century, Daegaya iron-arrowhead and iron-spearhead were imported into japanese archipelago and prestige iron-arrowheads of japanese are founded in the Gaya region centering on Daegaya. These aspects suggest that Daegaya located in inland province had emerged as window of trade with japanese archipelago. Thus, the established studies which have considered as friendly relation in Gogurye-Silla and Baekjae-Gaya-Wae could not be the exclusive viewpoint and there needs diverse examination about complicated international relationship that had been unfolded.
