Aspects and change of storage pit for the latter part of Bronze Age

청동기시대 저장관련 연구는 현재 저장체계의 전반적인 모습을 밝히는 수준까지 이르렀다. 하지만저장수혈 자체의 기능적 연구, 저장대상물과 저장방법에 대한 구체적인 연구는 아직까지 미진하다. 본고는 이러한 문제점을 인식하고 저장의 구체적인 모습을 다양한 분석을 통해 살펴보았고, 이를 바탕으로 저장이 가진 의미에 대한 견해를 피력하였다. 청동기시대 저장수혈에서의 저장 과정과 방법은 장·단기의 식량작물을 저장수혈의 형태에 맞추어선별·분리하여 안치한 후, 내부에 저장기간을 연장하기 위한 각종 보조장치를 마련하고, 상부를 밀봉하여 마무리하는 방식이 추정된다. 저장수혈은 청동기시대 후기에 들어서면서 본격화되지만, 특히 늦은 시기(송국리유형 Ⅲ~Ⅳ단계)에 규모나 형태 등의 구조와 함께 군집과 증가 등의 입지와 분포에서도 변화가 뚜렷해진다. 이러한 변화의 원인으로는 다양한 관점에서의 접근이 필요하겠지만, 기후변동에 따른 벼의 감소와 잡곡의 증가라는 생산량 변화가 하나의 원인으로 여겨진다. 그에 따라 저장대상물(작물)의 생산과 보존유지를 위한 기술적 발전이 수반되고, 이를 관리·운영할 수 있는 엘리트의 본격적 등장과 함께 사회계층화의심화가 더욱 커졌던 것으로 판단된다.

Now the research for the storage of Bronze Age has discovered overall structure of the storage system. However the analysis on the function of storage pit itself, the stored goods and the method of storage has not fully studied yet. With full understanding of such insufficiencies, in this thesis I try to present the point of view for the significance of storage in bronze age through diverse analyzes of the concrete form of storage. In order to store goods in Bronze Age, firstly both short and long term foods are sorted according to the shape of pit. The foods which were divided in advance would be placed inside of the pit. And then various devices which help to extend preservation period would be installed. Afterwards the top of pit will be closed(sealed).the storage pit becomes a regular figure in late bronze age. Particularly during this period(Songguk-ri type Ⅲ~Ⅳphase), it shows a clear increase of the gathering of pits along with the distinctive changes in shapes and scales. No need to mention, variety approaches to these changes should be followed. However one of the main reason for the such changes is considered as climate change. Thus inevitably the growth of agricultural production(including rice and grain) has increased. With the technical development for agricultural production,it s preservation should be increased. And thus a certain figure who can manage and operate the system more efficiently is needed. In addition, the gap between social stratums is firmly established.
