호남지역 분주토기의 제작방법 변화로 본 편년과 계통성

Bunju-pottery in Honam area : Chronological study through changes in production methods and Systemicity

본고는 분주토기의 제작방법과 그 방법상의 기술변화를 상정하여 분주토기의 변화상을 살피고 변화양상에서 확인되는계통성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 분주토기는 저부의 형성유무로 Ⅰ형식과 Ⅱ형식으로 구분되고 Ⅰ형식과 Ⅱ형식은 각각 형태적 변화양상을 가지는 것으로 파악된다. Ⅰ형식 분주토기는 단의 형성과 단의 수 및 돌대의 변화, 투창의 변화로 변화양상이 확인되며 Ⅱ형식은 제작기술의 변화인 정립, 분할, 도립기법의 변화와 돌대, 투창의 형태변화 등으로 변화양상을 보인다. 기존연구에서 분주토기가 일본 埴輪의 영향을 강하게 받았을 가능성이 있었지만 일본 구주지역에서는 2조 3단 형식이호남보다 늦게 출현하는 점과 호남지역에서 도립기법이 먼저 확인되는 점, 역삼각형 투창이 없는 점 등으로 미루어 일본埴輪의 직접적인 영향성은 희박한 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 이러한 연구결과 자체적으로 발생하여 변화하였을 것으로 추정되며 변화과정에서 호남지역과 왜의 교류관계에 의해 일본의 埴輪을 제작하는 집단과의 교류가 이루어지고 이를 통해서 埴輪의 일부 속성이 호남지역에 나타나는 것으로 추정된다. 그리고 호남지역 분주토기의 속성도 일본으로 전파된 것으로 사료된다. 종합해 보면 호남지역 분주토기 변화의 방향은 제작방법의 단순화와 투창, 돌대, 문양(타날) 등 각 속성의 크기변화 및장식성의 첨가로 이야기할 수 있으며, 결론적으로 호남지역 분주토기의 변화는 분구의 주변을 장식하는 것으로 외향적이고 장식성을 극대화하는 경향으로 변화한다.

In previous studies, it was possible Bunju-pottery is strongly influenced by haniwa(埴輪) in Japan. but 2 and 3step form in Kyushu appear later than Honam. and in Honam, Upside-down technique(倒立技法) is checked at first. There is no reverse triangle hole in Kyushu From the appearance of matters, Haniwa(埴輪) in Japan is not direct influence to Honam. Therefore, this study has estimated that the change is occurred by Honam itself. by the exchange of culture between baekje(百濟) and japan, Haniwa(埴輪) authoring group exchanged their skills. So some attributes appear in the Honam region is estimated. and Bunju-pottery(墳周土器) attributes in Honam region suggest that spread to Japan. As mentioned above, Bunju-pottery in Honam is taken over Bunju-pottery in Chungcheong. so I think that it has Mahan(馬韓) characteristics. and the direction of the change can talk with the production simplify, hole, doldae, patterns and the change of each property size and the dadition of decorative. As a result, the change of Bunju-pottery in Honam is extrovert as decorate with around of the mound and tend to maximize the decorative.
