2000년대 이후 거시경제의 변화와 DSGE모형

Macroeconomic Changes since 2000 and DSGE Models

본 논문의 목적은 제목에서 이미 알 수 있듯이 DSGE모형을 사용하여 거시경제현상을 분석한 기존 연구결과를 정리하여 소개하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 잠재성장률의 지속적인 저하, 소득불평등과 경제위기, 가계부채의 거시경제적 효과, 기업규모의 거시경제적 효과, DSGE모형의 노동시장과 일자리 없는 경기회복, DSGE모형의 정부예산제약식과 정부부채 등의 주제가 DSGE모형에 반영되는 것이 현실경제의 이해에 보다 유용한 방향으로 DSGE모형의 분석 범위를 확대하는 것으로 간주하고, 관련된 기존의 연구결과를 한국의 자료와 대비하여 설명한다.

The aim of this paper is to discuss implications of important macroeconomicchanges observed since 2000 on the further development of DSGEmodels. The starting point is to ask if the most recent DSGE model is flexibleenough to allow for the possibility of the persistent drop in the growth rateof potential GDP observed in the Korean economy. The other topics include therelation between economic crisis and inequalities, the implications of observedjobless recoveries on the specification of labor market in DSGE models, macroeconomicimpacts of household debt and government debt.
