최근 해외직접구매(Overseas Direct Purchase, ODP)는 성장 속도와 시장 규모 전망으로 미루어 볼 때, 국내외 경제에 매우 긍적적인 효과를 나타내고 있으며, 이에 대한 연구 필요성도 함께 높아지고 있다. 그러나 국내 연구는 정부의 적극적인 장려책이 시작된 2014년 이후에야, 본격적인 연구가 시작되는 등 그 연구의 중요성에 비해 학계의 연구성과와 다양성이 매우 부족한 현실이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 우리나라 해외직접구매의 현황과 발전과정을 살펴보고, 2014년 이후 2020년 현재까지 국내 학술지에 발표된 논문 중, 제목 및 키워드 검색을 통하여 해외직접구매, 해외직구 등을 포함하는 논문들을 대상으로 국내 연구자들의 해외직접구매(ODP)에 대한 연구동향분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 연구의 주제와 연구방법이 매우 편향적인라는 사실을 파악하게 되었으며, 향후 해외직접구매(ODP)의 변화 및 발전에 따라, 연구 주제 및 연구 방법의 다양화가 필요하다는 결론을 얻게 되었다. 이와 함께 향후 해외직접구매로 인한 국내 산업의 피해와 산업구조의 변화 등에 관한 연구, 해외직접판매(Overseas Direct Sale, ODS)와 연계한 해외직접매매(Cross Border e-Commerce)의 통합적 연구, COVID-19 사태에 따른 비접촉(non-contact) 시대 환경이 해외직접매매에 미치는 영향 등, 보다 체계화되고 발전되어야 한다는 결론도 함께 얻게 되었다.

Considering the recent growth rate and market size forecast of Overseas Direct Purchase (ODP), the need for research on overseas direct purchases is increasing in terms of building new consumption trends and positive effects on the domestic economy, but in Korea, full-scale research began in 2014 when the government began to actively encourage overseas direct purchases, which is a very insufficient reality for academic interest, research performance, and diversity compared to the importance of the research. Accordingly, this study examined the current status and development process of overseas direct purchase and conducted a research trend analysis on overseas direct purchase by domestic researchers by looking for papers published in domestic journals from 2014 to 2020, including overseas direct purchase and overseas direct purchase under the title and keywords of the paper. According to the analysis, it was concluded that research on the subdivisions and bias of research subjects due to changes and developments in overseas direct sales, and the diversity of research methods are needed, and that research on the impact of the environment in the non-contact era on Overseas Direct Sale (ODS) is required.
