The purpose of this article is to investigate the educational meaning of “links”(Catena) as latin language used by the Comenius’ works. According to Foucault, resemblance (Convenientia) is the intellectual characteristics of the 16th century. These characteristics are shown in Comenius the structure of Pansophia, works and teaching methods. In a Comenius link usage is the educational meaning five, as follows: First, in relation to the curriculum, the link is a mediator role of educational integration. Second, teachers should bear the mediator role for universal education as one of the links . Third, the link is the intermediary for educational practice (statement of materials). Fourth, practice(Praxis) as a link plays a very important role in the lives using(Chresis) that learners have learned(Theoria). Practice is the link that connects able to use the theory through example, imitation and training
