교사수준 체육과 교육과정의 개발과정 탐색

Exploring the Development Process of Teacher-level Physical Education Curriculum

이 연구는 국가수준의 교육과정이 시·도 교육과정 편성·운영 지침을 거쳐 학교 교육과정이 되고 실제 수업의 현장에서 교사수준의 체육 교육과정으로 발현되는 과정에 대한 교사의 인식을 알아보는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 목적을 위해 달빛초등학교와 별빛초등학교의 연구부장 2명과 체육전담교사 2명, 총 4명을 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 국가수준의 교육과정과 시·도 교육과정 편성·운영 지침, 해당 학교의 2019학년도, 2020학년도 학교 교육계획서, 관련 공문, 업무용 메시지, 수업일지 등의 문서자료와 4명의 연구 참여자들과의 개별 및 그룹 심층면담 등을 자료로 수집하였다. 자료를 귀납적으로 분석하는 과정은 단어와 문장의 의미단위에서 주제별로 분류하는 과정으로 진행되었으며 그 결과는 크게 2가지의 주제로 함축되었다. ‘녹을 수 없는 교육과정’과 ‘녹아야 하는 교육과정’의 의미를 담은 ‘녹여냄’은 학교교육과정을 계획하는 과정에 관한 것이며, 교사수준의 체육과 교육과정에 관한 주제인 ‘아이들과 맞닿은 체육과 교육과정’은 ‘수업 환경 살피기’, ‘퍼즐 맞추기’, ‘교사 전문성, 안목’으로 구분되었다. 이 연구에서 교사수준의 체육과 교육과정이 수립되는 과정과 학교 교육과정과의 관계를 알 수 있으며, 교육과정의 재구성에 관한 교사 전문성을 인식하는 기회를 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of the national curriculum becoming a school curriculum through the guidelines of city and provincial curriculum organization and operation and manifesting it as a teacher-level physical education curriculum in the actual class. For this purpose, a total of four participants were selected, including two head teachers of curriculum and two physical education teachers at Moonlight Elementary School and Starlight Elementary School, The data was collected from the national curriculum, guidelines for organizing and operating the city and provincial curriculum, the school education plan for the 2019 school year, the 2020 school year, related official documents, business messages, and class journals, and individual and group in-depth interviews with four research participants. The process of inductively analyzing data was conducted by classifying the meaning units of words and sentences by themes, and the results were largely implied by two themes. The theme of ‘dissolving’, which contains the meaning of ‘unrecordable curriculum’ and ‘curriculum to be melted’, was shown as the theme of the plan of the school curriculum, and the theme of ‘physical education curriculum that is in contact with children’, which is the theme of the teacher-level physical education curriculum, was classified into ‘examining the classroom environment’, ‘puzzling’, ‘teacher professionalism, and perspective’. In this study, the relationship between the process of establishing the teacher-level physical education curriculum and the school curriculum was found, and the opportunity to recognize the teacher s expertise in the reconstruction of the curriculum was provided.
