대학생의 학업적 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

The Relationship between Academic Self-Efficacy and Career Preparation Behavior of South Korean College Student: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Career Decision Level

본 연구는 한국 대학생들의 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정수준(결정성, 편안성), 진로준비행동의 관계를 살펴보고, 학업적 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에서 결정성과 편안성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학에 재학하고 있는 대학생 300명을 대상을 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 Hayes(2013)의 Process Macro를 통해 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 대학생의 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정수준(결정성, 편안성), 진로준비행동은 모두 유의한 정적상관을 보고하였다. 다음으로, 대학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로준비행동의 사이에서 진로결정수준의 결정성과 편안성은 부분매개효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 학업적 자기효능감이 진로결정수준을 높여 진로준비행동의 증가를 예측하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 대학생을 대상으로 한 진로상담에서의 유용한 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships of Korean college students’academic self-efficacy, career decision level(decidedness and comfort) and career preparation behavior. For this purpose, 300 Korean college students’ data were collected by online survey. The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 and Hayes(2013)’s Process Macro. The results of the study are as follow. Academic self-efficacy positively associated with career decision level and career preparation behavior, and career decision level positively associated with career preparation behavior. Additionally, career decision level and it’s subscales, decidedness and comfort partially mediated the relationship of academic self-efficacy and career preparation behavior. These findings suggest that academic self-efficacy of college students is predicting an increase of career preparation behavior by mediating career decision level. Therefore, the study provides useful interventions in the field of career counseling of college students.
