This study was conducted to analyze the cruse research trends in Korea using the semantic network analysis methods. A total of 168 cruise-related studies identified through RISS search, were used for the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. Both frequency of appearance and centrality analysis showed that cruise tour, cruise tourists, cruise ports and related topics had the greatest influence on the entire network. As the result of the ego network analysis of the top ranked key-words, it was found that the top ranked key-words of the cruise study were being simultaneously dealt with in the same study. This shows the lack of diversity in the topic of Korean cruise research, suggesting that Korean cruise research needs new and diverse attempts in terms of research subjects. The implication of this study is that it analyzed the trend of Korean cruise research by applying the semantic network analysis methods that complement the limitations of the traditional content analysis. It is concluded that the results of this study will help in understanding the research trend of the cruise field and setting the direction of future related research.
