상담 데이터를 기반으로 한 대학생 자기소개서오류 분석

An Analysis of Errors in Self-Introduction Based on Counseling Data - Focusing on Counseling Records of Kyungpook National University

이 논의의 목적은 경북대학교 <글쓰기센터>의 상담일지(2010-2018)를분석하여 학생들의 자기소개서에 나타난 오류를 분석하여 그 의미를 도출하는 것이다. 특히 이 논문에서는 전체 상담 사례의 80%에 해당하는 자기소개서 관련 상담일지 2,226건을 중심으로 학생들의 글쓰기 오류를 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 우선 오류를 내용, 구성, 표현 차원으로 범주화하여 구체적인오류 발생빈도, 사례, 상담 피드백의 의미를 살펴보았다. 내용, 구성, 표현 영역의 오류의 빈도를 분석한 결과 내용과 구성 영역에서오류가 각각 40%, 46%로 빈번하게 나타났다. 내용 차원의 오류는 자기소개서 장르적 특성과 밀접하게 관련되며, 구성과 표현에서의 오류는 기초 글쓰기능력과 직결되는 것이다. 이 결과는 학생들이 자기소개서의 장르적 특성을제대로 파악하지 못할 뿐 아니라 글쓰기의 기본적인 능력을 갖추지 못하고있다는 것을 보여주는 것이다. 이러한 데이터 분석을 바탕으로 향후 상담일지 데이터의 활용방안을 제시해 보았다. 해당 데이터를 분석, 정리하여 상담 균질화를 위한 튜터 교육 자료와 구체적인 상담일지 양식을 만들 수 있다. 또한 학생들이 퇴고 과정에서참조할 수 있는 체크리스트를 작성하는 데 기본자료로 활용할 수 있다. 마지막으로 데이터 분석에서 드러난 기초 글쓰기 능력 부족 문제를 해결하기 위해교과 연계 프로그램을 마련할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this discussion is to analyze the errors in the students self introduction letters by analyzing the counseling journal (2010-2018) of Kyungpook National University <writing center> and to derive its meaning. In particular, in this paper, we analyzed students writing errors, focusing on 2,226 counseling records related to self-introduction documents, which accounted for 80% of all counseling cases. For analysis, we first categorized errors into content, composition, and expression dimensions, and examined the frequency of specific errors, the cases, and the meaning of counseling feedback. Analysis of the frequency of errors in content, composition, and expression area resulted in an error of twice as large as the other area in the content area. The errors in the content dimension are closely related to the genre characteristics of self - introduction, and errors in composition and expression are directly related to basic writing ability. This result shows that students are not only able to grasp the genre characteristics of self-introduction, but also have no basic skills in writing. Based on this data analysis, we have suggested how to use counseling data in the future.
