The Identity of the Employment-oriented Genre and the Design of Self-introduction Writing and Interview

이 논문은 취업목적 장르의 정체성을 탐구하고 구체적인 지도 방안을 제안한 것이다. 장르란 특정 상황에 대한 반복적인 담화 범주이므로, 장르 작용에서 텍스트 및 구체적 담화 표현 방식은 결과물이자 동시에 장르 작용에 관여되는 중요한 장르 요소이다. 취업목적 장르는 채용자의 요구를 담지한 질문과 이에 대한 응답으로 이루어진 다층적 구조를 보인다. 또한 자기소개서와 면접이 글과 말로 서로 다른 것처럼 보이지만, 요구된 질문에 응답하는 방식이라는 점에서 공통점을 가진다. 이 논문에서는 전체 채용 과정을 하나의 복합장르로 보고 자기소개서와면접이 상호 유기적으로 보완될 수 있는 연계 교육 방안을 제안하였다. 또한각각의 텍스트는 질문과 응답의 다층적 구조를 보이는 점에 착안하여 질문의의도를 파악하고 이에 효과적으로 응답하는 방법을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore employment-oriented genre identity and present a detailed teaching plan. A genre is a category of repetitive discourse about a particular situation. Therefore, in genre functioning, the way of expressing text and concrete discourse is both a product and a crucial genre element engaged with genre functioning at the same time. The employment-oriented genre seems to be a multilayered structure consisting of questions containing the employer’s demand and responses to them. Also, although a statement of purpose and interview seem different from each other as the former is written and the latter is verbal, they are also the same because both are responses to questions asked to them. This author sees that the entire process of employment is a single multi-genre and suggests connective education that can allow writing a statement of purpose and interviewing to complement each other organically. Also, considering the fact that each of the texts is equipped with a multilayered structure of questions and responses, this researcher suggests how to figure out the intention of the questions and respond to them effectively.
