대학 글쓰기의 평가 공정성을 위한 평가 도구 설계 방안

A Study on the Design Plan of Evaluation for Evaluation Fairness in the University Writing

이 연구의 목적은 대학 글쓰기에서 평가 도구의 공정성을 확보하여 학습자 만족도를 향상시키는 방안에 대한 것이다. 대학 글쓰기의 평가는 그 목표의 추상성과 포괄성으로 인해 교수자의 재량에 의존해 온 측면이 있었다. 이것은 학습자가 평가의 공정성과 객관성에 의문을 가지게 되는 하나의 이유가 되기도 한다. 실제로 대학에서 이루어지는 글쓰기 교육의 세부적 목표와 형태를 학습자에게 주지시켜, 평가의 공정성을 확보하고, 나아가 학습자 만족도를 향상시킨다는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 교수자와 학습자 모두에게 대학 글쓰기 평가의 객관성이 인정되기 위해서는 체계적인 평가 설계 방안이 우선되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 2016년 1학기의 강의 평가 항목과 학습자 만족도의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 평가 공정성과 학습자 만족도과 높은 양적 상관관계에 있음을 알 수 있었다. 평가 도구의 문제점을 확인하여, 학습 목표를 구체화하고, 학습자에게 구체적으로 주시시킨 후, 평가 척도를 제시하고, 실제 적용해 보았다. 그 결과 2017년 1학기의 학습자 만족도를 살펴 본 결과, 평가 공정성뿐만 아니라 교수자의 전달력도 학습자 만족도와 높은 양적 상관관계를 보여주고 있었다. 단지 평가의 공정성을 위한 설계가 전반적 교수 질의 향상에도 영향을 끼친 것이다. 결국 평가의 공정성을 위한 교수설계가 학습자 만족도의 중요한 요소임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between learners satisfaction and how to increase the reliability and validity of assessment tools in university writing. The evaluation of university writing has been at the discretion of the professor due to the abstraction and inclusiveness of the purpose. This is also one reason why learners will question the fairness and objectivity of the assessment. Despite the diversity of the stated purpose and forms of writing education actually conducted in universities, there are relatively few discussions about its evaluation tools or evaluation techniques. This may be the reason for the difficulty in securing objectivity, reliability and validity of the assessment tool. This is why it is not easy to access information on how to design evaluation methods or tools even more than 10 years after being replaced by writing in Korean language. In response, this study aims to report ways to improve learners’ satisfaction by suggesting things to consider when designing an assessment. During the first semester of 2016 and the first semester of 2017, we identified and improved problems with writing assessment tools and applied them to classes. A comprehensive review of the overall areas of the education assessment presented a water assessment plan that would enhance the satisfaction of professors and learners.
