General Principles of Literacy Development and the History of Korean Aesthetic Literacy : Focused on the Rhetorics Used in the Poetry of Yoon, Dong ju

본 연구에서는 한국어 리터러시 발달 과정에서 동일하게 발견되는 리터러시 발달의 일반적인 원리를 밝히고자 하였다. 모국어 화자로서 한국어 구사에 숙달해가는 과정은 물론 초급 학습자들이 한국어 음소와 문자를 매개로 구어 및 문어의 이해와 표현 능력을 확장해 가는 과정에서도 동일한 패턴이 발견되기 때문이다. 그리고 한국어 담화 공동체의 미학적 리터러시 수준을 높이는 데 시인 윤동주가기여한 바를 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 먼저 2장에서 리터러시 발달의 일반적인 원리를 확인하였고 3장에서 윤동주의 시 119편에 적용된 수사법을 미메시스, 알레고리, 아이러니로 분류한 뒤 그 범주적 특징을 정리하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 21세기글로벌 지식인이 한국어 리터러시를 갈고 닦음으로써 얻을 수 있는 가치를 밝히는것이 본 연구의 최종 목적이다.

This study aims to modelize the general principle of the interpersonal literacy development and to compare the growth pattern of Korean literacy of the Korean as Second Language(KSL) learners. Because the same 3 step progress is discovered not only from the native Korean speakers but also from the KSL learners when they understand and use the spoken and written words by using Korean phonemes and alphabet characters. Also this study analyzes the contribution of Korean poet Yoon, Dong Ju to raise the level of the aesthetic literacy in the Korean discourse community. To this end, it is described the specialty of the general principles of the world literacy progress in Chapter 2, and is classified the rhetorics applied in Yoon, Dong Ju s 119 poems under the categories of Mimesis, Allegory, and Irony in Chapter 3. Through this analysis, it is uncovered the value that global intellectuals of the 21st century can gain by studying and improving Korean literacy.
