온· 오프라인을 활용한 ‘읽기와 쓰기’ 수업과 피드백 모델 연구

Study on ’Reading & Writing’ Teaching Method with On/Off Line Activities

본 연구는 학생들이 글쓰기와 글 읽기에 자발적이고 적극적으로 참여하도록 유도하려는 교수 모델에 대한 연구이다. 대학에서의 글쓰기 교육 분야는 최근 다양한 교수 방법의 모색과 교재의 개발로 과거의 전통적이고 상투적인 교육 방식에서 점차 벗어나고 있다. 본 교수법은 이와 같은 흐름에 동참함과 아울러, 온·오프라인의 동시 활용과 학생들 상호간의 피드백과 소통을 중심에 둔 교수방법의 제안이라는 측면에서 의미를 가질 수 있으리라 본다. 디지털 시대의 현대인들은 즉각적인 피드백이 있는 글쓰기에 흥미를 느끼지만, 소통이 지연될 때 지루함을 느낀다. 온라인을 활용하여 즉각적인 피드백을 체험하게 하고, 독자나 청자와의 직접적 소통이 주는 즐거움을 체험하게 하는 것이 본 교육 모델의 장점이다. 이 교수 모델을 통해, 학습자들은 흔히 평가자가 되었던 교수자의 평가 지침에 맞는 글을 쓰기 위해 노력하는 것이 아니라, 타 학생들과의 공감을 유발하고 상대를 이해시키거나 설득시키기 위해 글을 쓰게 될 수 있다. 온라인과 오프라인을 함께 활용하여, 학습자 스스로 흥미를 느낀 주제에 대해 타인과 공감과 소통을 나누는 기회를 얻게 함으로써, 인문학적 교양 교육의 본연의 목적에도 부합할 수 있는 글쓰기 교육을 이룰 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study is aiming for developing a ‘reading & writing’ teaching method that leads learners’ spontaneous participation. Writing education in universities is taking efforts to get out of traditional and typical ways gradually. This teaching method goes together with this new efforts. The points of this teaching method are in using on/off line activities simultaneously and leading inter-learners feedbacks positively. People nowadays are much interested in writings with immediate feedbacks. This study provides learners with two merits. The one is to make learners experience immediate feedbacks using of on/off line activities. The other is to make them experience the pleasure of interactive communications with the reader or listener. Through this teaching method the learners will be able to immerse in writings with the pleasure to sparking sympathies with the readers.
