디지털 정보화 사회에서는 다양한 디지털 매체들이 수없이 많은 정보와 지식을 쏟아내는 정보 과잉의 시대에, 주목받는 콘텐츠를 생산하기는 쉽지 않다. 그래서 지금은 지식의 창조보다 지식의 편집이 더 중요하다. 지식의 편집을 통해 새로운 지식과 콘텐츠가 탄생하기 때문이다. 대학생들은 정보활용능력을 길러 디지털 정보화 사회에 대비하고 있지만, 단순히 정보활용기술을 습득하는 것만으로는 양질의 콘텐츠를 만들기가 어렵다. 콘텐츠에 개성과 흥미를 더하기 위해서는 정보활용기술과 함께 스토리텔링 능력이 요구된다. 이런 때 대학의 글쓰기 교육은 정보활용기술 교육과 협력방안을 모색하고 양질의 콘텐츠 제작 교육에 관심을 가져야 한다. 이것은 글쓰기 교육에서 강조했던 문제 해결 능력을 활용할 새로운 장을 학생들에게 제시한다는 점에서 중요하다. 이 글에서는 교양과정의 컴퓨터, 글쓰기를 담당하는 두 교수자가 협업하여 광고와 프레젠테이션 제작을 교육한 사례를 제시하였다. 특히 스토리텔링 교육이 어떻게 활용되었는가에 초점을 맞추어, 글쓰기를 기반으로 융합수업을 진행하고자 하는 교수자들에게 도움이 되고자 하였다.

It is not easy to produce contents that attracts people s attention in a digital information technology society overloaded by information from various digital media. So, now editing knowledge is more important than creating knowledge, because new knowledge and contents can be created from the compilation of existing knowledge. Although students are preparing for the digital information society to foster information literacy, it is not easy to make quality contents just by acquiring techniques to utilize information. To add unique and interesting contents requires storytelling ability with the information literacy skills. Therefore, writing education in universities must seek to collaborate information technology and education for the production quality contents. This is important in that it presents a new chapter for students to take advantage of problem-solving skills, which is emphasized in writing education. This article contains education case studies for advertising and presentation skills by two professors of liberal arts and computer science. In particular, it provides skills for teachers who try to make convergence writing classes focusing on storytelling education.
