독서 에세이의 구성 요소 분석과 비계 설정을 활용한 지도 사례 연구

A study on the analysis of constitutional elements & ‘Scaffolding’ of writing Book Essay

본 연구는 최근 교육 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 읽기와 쓰기의 통합적 교육을 수행하는 데에 필요한 구체적인 수업 방안을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 읽기와 쓰기 교육은 상호보완적으로 이루어질 때 더욱 높은 교육적 효과를 얻을 수 있으나, 학습자에게 읽기와 쓰기를 더불어 경험하게 하는 것만으로는 통합적 교육의 질을 높이기 힘들다.본 연구는 수업 과제로 제출한 독서 에세이 81편을 대상으로 18가지의 구성요소를 적용하여 글의 특징들을 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 읽기와 쓰기 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 비계 설정을 시도하였다. 독서 에세이는 읽기의 대상이 되는 책의 장르와 과제 수행의 목표에 따라 다른 특징을 보인다. 교안을 구성할 때에 교수와 학생 간의 협력활동을 상정한 구체적인 비계 설정을 함으로써 보다 객관적이고 구체적인 결과물을 생산할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to devise concrete teaching methods needed to provide integrated education for ‘reading-writing’ that is being conducted in the recent field of education. When reading and writing education is provided complementarily, it exhibits higher educational effects. This study has compared 81 book essay Based on the comparative analysis of constitutional elements, this researcher also has attempted to perform ‘scaffolding’ to enhance reading-writing skills. Book reports are characterized differently according to the genre of a book intended to be read and the goal of a task. Therefore, when making a teaching plan, it will be needed to set up concrete scaffolding corresponding to it so as to help learners to improve their skills.
