미담 기사를 활용한 한국어 쓰기 수업 연구

The study on Korean language teaching experience essay through human interests : focusing on intermediate level Learners

이 연구는 중급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 미담 기사를 활용한 경험담 쓰기 교수 학습 모형 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 본고에서는 중급에서의 경험담 쓰기 교육과 초급에서의 언어형식 연습 수준의 쓰기 교육 사이에 차별성이 필요하다고 보고, 사람들의 경험을 토대로 작성되는 미담 기사를 활용하여 경험담 쓰기 교육에 장르 특성이라는 사회맥락적 지식을 포함할 것을 제안하였다. 개발된 수업 모형은 장르 중심 교수법에 따라 수업의 목표와 방향성을 제시하고 유의미한 과제 부여하는 도입을 시작으로 교사 질문으로 문맥 파악하기→ 그룹토의를 통한 장르의 구조적, 언어적 특징 파악하기 → 교사와 학습자 전체가 협력해서 작문 쓰기 → 학습자 혼자서 경험담 쓰기 → 교사 혹은 동료 피드백 통한 수정하기를 거쳐 마무리로 나아가는 형식이다. 제시된 ‘미담 기사를 활용한 경험담 쓰기 교육 모형’은 학습자가 일련의 절차를 통해서 한국 사회공동체에서 요구하는 경험담 관련 장르 지식을 익히고, 한 편의 글을 직접 써 보는 과정을 수행하여 한국어 쓰기의 목적이 공동체와의 소통에 있음을 체험할 수 있도록 설계되었으며, 학습자로 하여금 사회 공동체와의 소통이라는 쓰기 과제의 목적을 이해하고, ‘반전’ 전략을 비롯한 사회공동체에서 요구하는 장르 지식을 활용하도록 하였다. 실험 결과 학습자들은 쓰기 교육의 목표를 이해하고, 쓰기 과제에 대해 긍정적인 자세로 임했다. 그 결과 미담 기사의 단문 능동문이라는 학습자의 기학습 어휘와 문법을 활용하되 장르 특징을 반영하여 반쓰기 과제를 수행하려 노력하는 모습을 보였다.

This paper suggests the teaching-learning model of experience essay writing for Korean intermediate learners with human interest stories. On the basis of the idea that the writing education of experience essay for the intermediate class needs to be different from that of word and grammer training for beginner class, I propose the introduction of socio-contextual knowledge into the writing education of experience essay by utilizing the human interest stories based on the exepriences of ordinary people. The model I proposed is realized as following procedure: i) setting instructional objectives according to genre-centered approach instruction and providing appropriate texts to the learners, ii) contextualizing the texts through question and answer, iii) analyzing the structural and linguistic charateristics of Genre by discussions in groups, iv) writing texts with teacher, v) writing experience essay by themselves, and vi) revising essay helped by feedback of teacher and/or the collegues.
