Physiognomy of Romanian Phraseology

본 논문의 목적은 루마니아 어구론의 양상을 설명하는 것이다. 루마니아 언어학자 에우제니우 코셰리우(Eugeniu Coşeriu)의 학설에 따르면, 모든 민족은 그들이 살아가는 현실을 바라보는 특유의 관점을 가지고 있으며, 각 민족이 살아가는 환경이 다른 만큼, 개별 언어들의 어구론적 양상 역시 다르게 나타난다고 주장한다. 유럽인들의 사고방식에 비추어볼 때 정서와 감정이 관계된 신체기관은 심장이다. 아시아인들의 사고방식에서 바라보면 모든 감정을 지배하는 신체기관은 간이라 할 수 있다. 그러므로 감정과 연관된 유럽언어들의 어구에는 ‘심장’이라는 어휘를 내포하고 있는 반면에 아시아 언어들에서의 비슷한 표현들은 ‘간’이란 어휘를 포함하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 개별 언어의 어구론적 양상을 설명할 필요성에 의해서 작성된 것이며 이를 위해 가능한 연구방법론을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this article is to describe the physiognomy of Romanian phraseology. According to Romanian linguistic theories Eugeniu Coseriu every nation has a vision of reality in which he lives. Phraseology of each language is different as far as the vision on the surrounding reality is different. In European mentality heart is the human organ that are related feelings. In Asian mentality liver is the seat of all emotions. Therefore in the phraseology of European languages expressions that refer to feelings include the word heart, while similar expressions in Asian languages contain the word liver. This article is a pleading for the need to describe the physiognomy of each language and provides a possible methodology.
