목공 작품 메이킹 수업에서 디자인사고 프로세스를 활용한 예비교사들의 교육 효과 연구

Study on the Educational Effect of Pre-Service Teachers using the Design Thinking Process in Woodwork Production Making Lesson

본 연구의 목적은 목공 작품 메이킹(제작) 활동 수업에서 디자인 사고 프로세스 활용 효과를 분석하고자 하는 것이다. 목공 작품 메이킹 활동 수업에서 디자인 사고 프로세스 활용한 교육 사례를 분석하기 위하여 메이커 활동 전과 활동 후에 창의성 및 문제해결 자신감 문항은 설문조사, 수업에 대한 인식 조사는 설문과 인터뷰였다. 연구 대상은 2019년 2학기 A 대학교의 1학년 전체인 22명이며, 10주간 실시하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디자인 사고 프로세스를 활용한 목공 작품 메이킹 활동 전과 활동 후 분석에서 ‘창의성’ 및 ‘문제해결 자신감 향상’에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 디자인 사고 프로세스를 활용한 목공 작품 메이커 활동 만족도 전체 평균은 4.32로 높은 편이다. 셋째, 디자인 사고 프로세스를 활용한 작품 제작 메이킹 활동 수업에서, 상관관계가 가장 높은 문항은 ‘활동 만족도’와 ‘목공 작품 메이킹 방법 이해에 도움이 됨’(.931)이며, 그 다음으로는 ‘활동 만족도’와 ‘창의성과 문제해결 자신감 향상’으로 .910이다. 넷째, 디자인 사고 프로세스를 활용한 목공 작품 메이킹 활동 교육 프로그램은 ‘창의성과 문제 해결에 대한 자신감’, 흥미도 , 성취도 , 만족도 , 목공 작품 제작 방법에 대한 이해를 향상‘시키는데 도움을 주는 프로그램이었다. 따라서 목공 작품 메이킹 활동 수업에서 디자인 사고 프로세스의 활용은 학생들의 흥미도, 성취감, 만족도, 그리고 창의성과 문제해결 자신감 향상에 효과적인 교육 프로그램임을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of using the design thinking process in the woodwork production making activity for pre-service teachers. In this study, we analyze a survey on creativity and problem-solving confidence for pre and post woodwork production making activity using the design thinking process for 22 pre-service teachers. In addition, surveys and interviews are conducted to investigate students recognitions after the woodwork making activity lesson. The subjects of the study are pre-service teachers of the 1st grade of A University which is divided into six groups over a 10-week period. The main results of this study were as follows: First, in woodwork production making activity lesson using the design thinking process, it is found that the analysis of pre-activity and post-activity have a significant effect on the improvement of creativity and problem-solving confidence. Second, the overall average of satisfaction with the woodwork production making activity lesson using the design thinking process is high level(4.32). Third, As a result of the correlation analysis of the lesson of woodwork production making activities using students design thinking process, the items with the highest correlation(.931) are activity satisfaction and helping understanding of woodwork production making methods . After that, activity satisfaction and creativity and problem-solving confidence improvement are followed(.910). Fourth, the woodwork making activity education program using the design thinking process is a program to improve ‘creativity and problem-solving confidence’, ‘interest’, ‘achievement’, ‘satisfaction’, and helping understanding of woodwork production making methods .
