중학교 기술 교과 수송기술 단원을 위한 ‘이동효율이 높은 선형(船型) 만들기’ 체험활동 과제 개발

Development of Making Shipshape Model with High Moving Efficiency Hands-on Activity for Technology Curriculum

조선 산업은 우리나라의 주요 기간산업으로써 국가 경제성장에 큰 역할을 담당해 왔다. 그러나 조선 산업의 중요성에 비해 기술 교과서에서는 선박을 비롯한 해상 수송기술에 대한 체험활동 과제는 크게 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 중학교 기술 교과 수송 기술 단원을 대상으로 ‘이동효율이 높은 선형 만들기’ 체험활동 과제를 개발함으로써 학생들의 해상 수송기술에 대한 흥미와 관심을 유발하고 학생들로 하여금 수송기술에서의 효율의 중요성을 인식시키는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 연구 목적의 달성을 위하여 준비, 개발, 개선의 단계를 거쳐 체험활동 과제를 개발하였다. 준비 단계에서는 2015 개정 중학교 기술·가정과 교육과정의 내용체계 및 성취기준을 분석하였고 12종 기술·가정 교과서에서 다루고 있는 수송기술 단원의 체험활동 과제와 선행 연구된 논문을 분석하였다. 개발 단계에서는 준비 단계에서 분석한 내용을 토대로 6차시 분량의 체험활동 수업자료를 개발하였으며, 전문가 타당도 검증을 통하여 개발된 체험활동 과제를 수정 및 보완하였다. 개선 단계에서는 중학교 학생을 대상으로 체험활동 수업을 실시하고 수업 만족도 평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 적용 결과 선박에 대한 흥미, 재미, 수업시간의 적절성과 체험활동 과제 내용의 이해 항목에서 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

The shipbuilding industry has played a major role in national economic growth as a major industry in Korea. However, compared to the importance of the shipbuilding industry, Hands-on Activity task on marine transportation technology, such as ships, in technology textbooks is largely insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop Making shipshape with high moving efficiency hands-on activity for transportation technology unit in 2015 revised middle school technology and home economics curriculum. In this study, hands-on activities were developed through the stages of preparation, development, and improvement to achieve the research purpose. In the preparation stage, the content system and achievement criteria of 2015 revised middle school technology curriculum and previously researched papers were analyzed. In the development phase, 6 hours of instructional materials for hands-on activity task were developed. In addition, the developed hands-on activities were revised and supplemented through expert validity verification. In the improvement phase, hands-on activities were conducted for middle school students. The results of class satisfaction test on students showed positive effects In terms of interest, fun, length of class, and understanding of the ship.
