새로운 향수 상품 개발에 필요한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 본 연구에서는 국내에 유통되고 있는 향수 상품 중 선호도가 높은 향수의 주요 성분 분석을 기체크로마토그래피-질량분석기(Gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy)로 분석한 결과, 연구 대상 향수 제품별로 26~63종의 향기 성분이 확인되었다. 시료별 성분의 피크 면적이 시료 전체 면적을 기준으로 5% 이상인 주요 성분으로서 향수 제품별로 benzeneethanol, 1-methyl-5,8-dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,4-iminonaphthalene, E-2-octadecadecen-1-ol, 5-methoxy-1,3-dimethyl-2-indolinone, lilial, ethylene brassylate, linalool, nerol, methyl dihydrojasmonate, galoxolide, isopropyl myristate 등이 확인되었다. 이와 같은 주요 향기 성분들 중 2종 이상의 향수 시료에서 주요 성분으로 확인된 5-methoxy-1,3-dimethyl-2-indolinone, ethylene brassylate, nerol, methyl dihydrojasmonate, galoxolide 등 5종의 향기 성분의 경우 개별 향수 제품의 선호도에 상대적으로 영향을 많이 주는 것으로 추정해 볼 수 있었으며, 향수 관련 제품 개발 단계에서 해당 성분과 유사한 향기 성분들에 대한 검토가 필요할 것으로 판단되었다.
In order to use it as basic data necessary for the development of new perfume products, analysis of major compounds of perfumes with high preference among perfume products distributed in Korea was conducted to review data on distribution patterns of individual fragrance compounds as factors that influence preference. As a result of analyzing the major compounds by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy, 26 to 63 types of fragrance compounds were identified for each perfume product to be studied. As the main componunds whose peak area of each compound is 5% or more based on the total area of the sample, benzeneethanol, 1-methyl-5,8-dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,4-iminonaphthalene, E-2-octadecadecen-1-ol, 5-methoxy-1,3-dimethyl-2-indolinone, lilial, ethylene brassylate, linalool, nerol, methyl dihydrojasmonate, galoxolide, isopropyl myristate were identified for each perfume product. Among these major fragrance compounds, five were identified as major compounds in two or more perfume samples, including 5-methoxy-1,3-dimethyl-2-indolinone, ethylene brassylate, nerol, methyl dihydrojasmonate, and galoxolide. These fragrance compounds could be estimated to have a relatively large influence on the preference of individual perfume products, and it was judged that it was necessary to review fragrance compounds similar to the corresponding compounds in the development stage of perfume-related products.
