예비 체육교사교육에서 교수 평가도구 활용의 교육적 의미 탐색

Exploring the Educational Possibility of Teaching Evaluation System in Pre-service Physical Education Teacher Education Program

본 연구는 예비 체육교사의 교수능력 증진을 위해 교사평가 도구의 교육적 의미를 탐색하며 평가도구로서의 활용 가능성을 타진하는 데 목적이 있었다. 연구참여자는 00대학교 체육교육과에 재학중이며, 교과교수법 강좌에 참여한 25명이 선정되었다. 먼저, 5차시 강좌에서 수업시연 운영방안을 안내하고, 10∼14차시에 걸쳐 수업진행과 평가 및 토론을 진행하였다. 수업시연은 수업연구 절차(사전협의-계획수립-수업관찰-인터뷰-토론-실천)를 예비교사교육에 맞도록 수정하여 진행하였다. 자료분석을 위해 예비교사의 수업계획서, 수업영상, 평가결과자료, 한 장 글쓰기 자료를 수집하였으며, 영역분석과 분류분석 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 예비교사들은 첫째, 평가도구의 활용을 통해 체계적인 수업계획과 일치하는 수업 운영의 필요성을 배울 수 있었다. 둘째, 학습환경 조성과 유지, 효과적인 학습내용 가르치기의 중요성과 긍정적인 학습 분위기의 의미를 깨달을 수 있었다. 셋째, 상황에 적절한 수업을 운영하고 신체활동의 가치를 가르칠 수 있는 교수능력의 중요성을 이해할 수 있었다. 넷째, 학생평가와 교사평가의 올바른 평가방법을 이해할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 예비교사의 교수능력 증진을 위한 교사평가와 교수수행능력 평가도구의 활용이 필요한 이유와 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 논의에서는 교수평가 도구의 교육적 활용 방안과 예비교사의 수준을 고려하는 재구성 방안을 제안하고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the educational possibility of teacher evaluation system to enhance the pre-service physical education teachers’ teaching ability. The subjects were 25 college students who were enrolled in the physical education teaching method class at 00 University. The class demonstration was conducted in the stage of prior consultation-planning-class observation-interview-discussion- practice. For data analysis, pre-service teacher s lesson plan, instructional video, evaluation result data, and reflection diary were collected. It was analyzed by Spradley s domain analysis and classification method. The result of the study shows the followings: first, pre-service teachers were able to learn the needs of class management consistent with the systematic class planning. Second, pre-service teachers were able to realize the meaning of a positive learning atmosphere through the importance of creating and maintaining learning environment and effective learning contents. Third, pre-service teachers were able to understand the importance of teaching ability to manage classes based on the situation and the value of physical activity. Fourth, pre-service teachers were able to understand the appropriate evaluation method of student and teacher evaluation. It was determined the possibility of teacher evaluation and teaching performance evaluation system is very high to improve teaching ability of pre-service teachers. Finally, a method for educational use of the teaching evaluation system and a reorganization method based on the level of pre-service teachers were suggested.
