4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성 발달에 대한 연구

A Study on the Development of Teacher Identity in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era: From the Perspective of Parker Palmer s Identity Theory

본 연구의 목적은 Parker Palmer의 정체성 이론의 관점에서 4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성 발달 과정에 대해 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성 발달 과정에 대하여 교사의 고유성 측면, 교사와 세계의 연계 측면, 교사의 자기와 자아의 연계 측면을 중심으로 접근하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성 위기 단계의 특징은 교사의 고유성 측면에서 포스트모더니즘시대의 자아상실의 위기, 교사와 세계의 연계 측면에서 인간성 상실시대의 관계 맺음의 위기, 교사의 자기와 자아의 연계 측면에서 성과주의시대의 무기력함의 위기로 나타났다. 둘째, 4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성 변화와 혁신 단계의 특징은 교사의 고유성 측면에서 교사의 삶을 통한 자기성찰, 교사와 세계의 연계 측면에서 교사와 학생의 사랑 기반 공동체 활동, 교사의 자기와 자아의 연계 측면에서 비판적 사고능력 함양을 위한 교사교육으로 나타났다. 셋째, 4차 산업혁명시대 교사정체성의 확립 단계의 특징은 교사의 고유성 측면에서 교사의 전인적 성장, 교사와 세계의 연계 측면에서 교사의 멘토 역할, 교사의 자기와 자아의 연계 측면에서 교사의 자율성을 기반으로 한 교직전문성 확립으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 4차 산업혁명시대 학교교육 혁신을 위한 교사정체성 발달에 대한 시사점을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of the development of teacher identity in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era from the perspective of Parker Palmer s identity theory. In this study, the process of the development of teacher identity in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era is focused on the teacher s uniqueness, the connection between the teacher and the world, and the connection between the teacher s self and Self. The results of this study are as follows. First, the characteristics of the teacher identity crisis stage in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era are the crisis of self-loss in the post-modernism era in terms of the teacher s uniqueness, the crisis of forming a relationship in the humanity-loss era in terms of the connection between the teacher and the world, and the crisis of helplessness in the performanceism era in terms of the connection between the teacher s self and Self. Second, the characteristics of the teacher identity change and innovation stage in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era are the self-reflection process through the teacher s life in terms of the teacher s uniqueness, community activities based on the love of the teacher and the student in terms of the connection between the teacher and the world, and teacher education conducted to develop critical thinking skills of teachers in terms of the connection between the teacher s self and Self. Third, the characteristics of the teacher identity establishment stage in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era are the holistic growth of the teacher in terms of the teacher s uniqueness, the teachers’ role of mentor in terms of the connection between the teacher and the world, the cultivation of the professionalism based on the autonomy in terms of the connection between the teacher s self and Self. Based on the results of this study, suggestions were made for the development of teacher identity for educational innovation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era.
