Both China and India are big civilized countries with large populations and huge markets, as well as splendid cultures. People’s demand for cultural products is increasing with the continuous improvement of economic life. India’s Bollywood films have distinct characteristics and enjoy a high reputation internationally, with ample production volume and strong development momentum. In recent years, Indian films have achieved good results in both public praise and box office in China. The two countries have initially explored the film cooperation at the both levels of the government and the people, but the cooperation foundation is still relatively weak. In the future, China and India also need to strengthen cooperation in the film industry from both macro and micro aspects, and sign the Memorandum of Film and Television Cooperation: give policy preference to China and India in film translation and joint production; strengthen the cultivation of film and television talents in industrial cooperation, and develop excellence Works, improve the level of film cooperation, enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples, and enhance mutual trust between the two countries on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit.
