The Effect of Internal Control on the Internal Accounting Control System using ERP

[연구목적] 본 연구는 KOSDAQ 등록 기업 중 289개 기업을 대상으로 ㈜더존비즈온 ERP를 포함한 다양한 경영정보화 Solution의 활용한 내부통제가 내부회계관리제도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 그 의미를 해석하였다. [연구방법] 본 연구에서는 변수들 사이의 관련성 정도를 분석하기 위하여 Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient를 이용한 상관관계분석과 가설검증을 위한 다중 회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)을 실시하였으며, 유의수준 p＜0.1(90%)에서 해석하였다. [연구결과] 첫째, 기업의 내부통제 기능이 탑재된 상위 수준의 ERP Solution을 사용하는 기업일수록 내부회계관리제도 운영조직의 참여 인력 수에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측한 연구가설 1을 증명함으로서 채택되었다. 둘째, 내부통제 기능이 탑재된 상위 수준의 ERP Solution 사용 기업은 하위 수준의 ERP Solution 사용기업에 비해 CPA 참여여부에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측한 연구가설 2를 증명함으로서 채택되었다. 셋째, 내부회계 Solution 사용 기업은 내부회계관리제도운영조직의 참여 인력 수에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측한 연구가설 3은 회귀분석 결과 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보이지 못하여 연구가설 3이 기각되었다. 넷째, 내부회계 Solution 사용 기업은 내부회계관리제도 운영조직의 CPA 참여여부에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측한 연구가설 4는 회귀분석 결과 연구가설 4가 채택되었다. [연구의 시사점] 본 연구의 시사점은 독립적인 주제로 다루어져 왔던 ERP Solution 활용과 내부회계관리제도를 융합시킴으로서 새로운 학문적 영역을 개척하고, 향후 다양한 후속연구가 이루어지는데 있다.

[Purpose] The purpose of this paper is to analyze and to understand the effects of internal control on the internal accounting control system using ERP. To meet this purpose, 289 sample firms among registered KOSDAQ firms. [Methodology] This study analyzed correlation analysis using pearson’s correlation coefficient and multi variant regression analysis were used to analyze the correlation and effects using significance level p＜0.1 (90%). [Findings] First, hypothesis 1 was accepted with meaningful evidence. Second, hypothesis 2 was accepted with meaningful evidence. Third, hypothesis 3 is the result of the regression analysis did not show statistically significant meaning resulting rejection of the hypothesis. Fourth, hypothesis 4 was accepted with meaningful evidence. [Implications] The implications of this study are the merging of ERP solutions and internal accounting management systems that have been addressed under separate themes, creating new academic domains and subsequent follow-up studies.
