중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 또래애착, 교사관계와 진로정체감 간의 관계에서 자아정체감의 매개효과

The Mediating Effects of Ego Identity on the Relationship among Parenting Attitudes, Peer Attachment, Teacher Relationship and Career Identity Perceived by Middle School Students

본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 또래애착, 교사관계와 진로정체감의 관계에서 자아정체감의 매개효과를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 아동·청소년 패널조사(KCYPS) 중 2015년에 실시한 초4 패널 6차년도 자료(중3)를 활용하였으며, 최종적으로 2,061명의 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 또래애착, 교사관계, 자아정체감, 진로정체감 간에는 유의미한 정적상관이 있었고, 중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 또래애착, 교사관계와 진로정체감 간의 관계에서 자아정체감은 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 따라서 중학생의 진로정체감을 위해서는 긍정적인 부모양육태도와 또래애착, 교사관계를 형성하고, 자아정체감을 높이는 것이 중요하다. 중학생 시기의 진로정체감 증진을 위해서는 개인적 특성뿐만 아니라 부모, 학교, 사회 등 여러 변인들을 고려해 다양하고 구체적인 방법들을 개발하고 적용하여야 할 것이다.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the mediating effects of ego identity on the relationships between parenting attitudes, peer attachment, teacher relationship and career identity perceived by middle school students. For the purpose of the study, 6th year data(16 year olds) of Korea Child Youth Panel Survey were used and finally 2,061 students’ data have been analyzed. The conclusion from the results and discussion are as follows. There are positive correlation among parenting attitudes, peer attachment, teacher relationship, ego identity and career identity. Ego identity partially mediated the relationship between parenting attitudes, peer attachment, teacher relationship and career identity. In conclusion to improve the career identity of middle-school student, including all of these variables like parental, school, social, personal factors should be considered based on their cause and effect relationships. It requires to develop and adapt the method of improving career identity to make positive parenting attitudes, peer attachment, teacher relationship and increase ego identity that affect career identity.
