대학생의 데이트 폭력 경험에 대한 연구

A Study on Experience of Dating Violence in College Students

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify experience of dating violence and factors affecting dating violence in college students. Methods : A cross-sectional, descriptive design was used. A convenience sample of 633 college students was recruited in Y college. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. Results : The regression model on psychological dating violence experience was significant(F= 11.25, p<.001). Thirty-three percent of the variance in the psychological dating violence was explained by the direct effect of data violence awareness(β=.36), dating experience(β=.35), family violence experience(β=.18), gender equality awareness(β=-.17), and age(β=.02). The regression model on physical dating violence experience was significant(F=5.08, p<.001). Gender equality awareness(β=-.25), date violence awareness(β=.20), dating period;6~12month(β=.18), dating experience(β=.15), and family violence experience(β=.10) explained 18% of the variance in physical dating violence. The regression model on sexual dating violence experience was significant(F=4.71, p<.001). Gender equality awareness(β=-.31), dating period;6~12month(β=.22), dating experience( β=.17), and family violence experience(β=.14) explained 17% of the variance in sexual dating violence. Conclusion : The findings have implications for strategies and suggest the need to develop an education program on healthy dating and gender equality awareness in order to prevent dating violence in college students.
