제조기업의 원가기획시스템과 정보기술 하부구조가 지식경영 과정과 기업성과에 미치는 영향

The Impact of Manufacturing Firm s Target Costing and IT Infrastructure on the Knowledge Management Processes and Organizational Performance

본 연구는 개인화 전략을 구현하는 원가기획시스템과 명문화 전략을 지원하는 정보기술 하부구조의 지식경영 과정들에 미치는 영향과 지식경영 과정들이 기업의 지식경영 만족도와 생산성과 개선에 미치는 직·간접 영향을 실증적으로 규명하였다. 지식경영시스템인 원가기획시스템은 사회화, 외재화, 통합화와 내재화라는 모든 지식경영 과정들에 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 정보기술 하부구조인 지식 저장 및 전달 하부구조는 외재화와 통합화에, 지식 검색 하부구조는 통합화와 내재화에 유의한 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 성공적인 지식경영을 위해 기업 내에 정보기술 하부구조의 구축과 개인화 전략을 지원하는 지식경영시스템의 도입이 함께 필요하다고 본다. 본 연구에서는 지식경영 과정들이 기업의 지식경영 만족도를 높이며, 높은 만족도는 생산성과 개선으로 연결된다는 것이 입증되었다. 지식경영 과정들의 생산성과 각각의 차원에 대한 영향분석에서, 명시적 지식들을 통합하여 새로운 명시적 지식체계를 형성하는 통합화가 유연성 증대, 품질개선과 원가절감에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 원가절감에 대해서는 내재화도 유의한 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

This study empirically investigated the effects of target costing system as well as information technology(IT) infrastructure on the knowledge management processes(i.e., socialization, externalization, combination and internalization). This study also examined the impact of knowledge management processes on the knowledge satisfaction and production performance(i.e., flexibility increase, quality improvement and cost reduction) of a firm. It is generally accepted that target costing is considered as a knowledge management system that supports or facilitates realization of a personalization strategy. IT infrastructure is mainly utilized for a codification strategy. In this study, IT infrastructure is classified into two types ： storage and transfer infrastructure, and search infrastructure. The results of regression analyses showed that target costing has significant influence on the four processes of knowledge management. It was also observed that the effects of storage and transfer infrastructure on externalization and combination are significant and positive. In search infrastructure, the impact on combination and internalization was significant. With mediated regression analyses, the indirect effects of knowledge management processes on the production performance of a firm through knowledge satisfaction were also confirmed. Finally, through multiple regression analyses, it was demonstrated that combination has a direct positive impact on the improvement of production performance, and internalization positively affects cost reduction.
