개인 자서전을 통해 본 해방 후 북한지역 대중조직 창설 운동

The Construction Movement of Mass Organizations in North Korea after Liberation Seen through the Autobiographies Written by Individuals

이 연구는 해방 직후 북한지역민들이 주도한 대중조직 창설 운동에 주목하였다. 사회적 혼란의 수습과 질서 유지를 모색한 치안조직으로부터, 다양한 계층의 이해관계를 대변한 정당 조직에 이르기까지 수많은 조직들이 결성되었다. 대중조직들의 목표는 일치하지 않았지만, 새로운 국가 건설에 이바지하고자 노력했다는 점에서 그들은 동일한 지향성을 지니고 있었다. 한국전쟁 시기에 미군이 북한지역에서 노획한 자서전과 이력서가 이 연구의 기초자료로 활용되었다. 그 자료들은 작성자들의 성장 환경과 과거 경력을 비롯한 개개인들의 핵심 정보를 수록하고 있다. 북한지역대중조직 창설 운동에 주목한 이 연구는 그를 주도한 알려지지 않은 일반 대중들의 목소리에 귀를 기울였다. 이 연구는 그들의 목소리를 통해 북한지역 권력 구조형성의 구체상과 역동성을 재현하고자 한다.

This study focused on mass organizations constructed by North Korean people shortly after liberation. Numerous organizations were formed, ranging from organizations for public peace to maintain social order to parties representing various levels of interest. Although the goals of the mass organizations were inconsistent, they had the same orientation in that they sought to contribute to the construction of a new nation. This study used the autobiographies and personal histories captured in North Korea by US troops during the Korean War as basic data. The materials contain key informations for each individuals, including the author’s growth environment and past experiences and so on. This study, which paid attention to the movements to construct mass organizations in North Korea, listened to the voices of unknown general public. This study attempts to recreate the concrete aspects and dynamics of form of the North Korean power structure through their voices.
