그림책 활용의 하브루타 활동이 유아의 창의성 및 창의적 리더십에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Habruta Activity Using Picture Books on Creativity and Creative Leadership of Young Children

본 연구의 목적은 그림책을 활용한 하브루타 활동이 유아의 창의성과 창의적 리더십 향상에 효과가 있는 지를 확인하는 것이므로, 실험연구를 통해 효과검증을 하였다. 실험을 위하여 서울시 소재의 한 유치원에 재원중인 만 4세 유아 38명을 무선 선정한 후, 실험집단에 21명, 통제집단에 17명을 무선 배치하였다. 연구기간은 2019년 09월 16일~2019년 10월 25일까지였으며, 실험집단에서는 그림책을 활용한 하브루타 활동을 6주간(12회기) 진행하였으며, 통제집단에서는 같은 시간에 유사한 주제로 누리교육과정의 언어영역 활동을 하였다. 사전, 사후검사로 ‘유아용 통합창의성검사’(K-ICT, 이경화, 2014)와 창의적 리더십검사(이경화, 유경훈, 2010)를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째로 그림책 활용 하브루타 활동은 유아의 창의적 능력에서 언어영역의 유창성, 융통성, 상상력에서 향상이 확인되었다. 그러나 도형영역과 창의적 성격에서는 실험의 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째로 그림책 활용 하브루타 활동은 유아의 창의적 리더십(개인적 리더십, 사회적 리더십, 문제해결적 리더십) 향상에 효과적임이 확인되었다. 따라서 유아교육현장에서는 유아들의 언어 창의성과 창의적 리더십을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램으로 그림책을 활용한 하브루타 활동을 적용하기를 권장한다.

The purpose of this study is to verify whether Habruta activity using picture books is effective in improving young children s creativity and creative leadership. For the experiment, 38 4-year-old children attending a kindergarten in Seoul were randomly selected, and then 21 children were randomly assigned to the experimental group and 17 children were assigned to the control group. The study period was from September 16, 2019, to October 25, 2019. The experimental group conducted the Habruta activity using picture books for 6 weeks(12 sessions). The pre and post-tests were used as ‘Integration Creativity Test(K-ICT) for Young Children’(Lee, 2014) and Creative Leadership Test (Lee & Lew, 2010). The results of this study are as follows: First, the Habruta activity showed improvement in fluency, flexibility, and imagination in the language area in the creative ability of young children. However, the experimental effect was not shown in the figure area and creative personality. Second, it was confirmed that the Habruta activity using picture books was effective in improving the creative leadership (personal leadership, social leadership, and problem-solving leadership) of young children. Therefore, it is recommended to apply the Habruta activity using picture books as a program to improve the language creativity and creative leadership of young children in the field of early childhood education.
