음악영재성과 보편적 능력으로서의 유아 음악영재성 개념화

Conceptualization of the Musical Giftedness and the Musical Giftedness in Early Childhood as a Domain-General Ability

본 연구의 목적은 음악영재성과 보편적 능력으로서의 유아 음악영재성을 개념화하는 것이다. 주요 연구방법은 문헌분석 기법을 적용하였다. 음악영재성과 유아 음악영재성을 개념화하기 위하여 국내외 관련 연구 논문 및 전문학술서에 나타난 음악영재성의 구성개념을 분석하고 범주화하였고, 보편적 능력으로서의 유아 음악영재성을 규명하고 개념화하기 위해 영유아기 발달과 음악의 관계를 탐색하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악영재성이란 ‘음악적성, 음악적 동기, 음악적 창의성을 구성요소로 하며 이것이 기회 요소와 결합될 때 음악적 탁월성을 발휘하게 되는 것’이라고 개념화하였다. 둘째, 보편적 능력으로서의 유아 음악영재성이란 ‘소리(음)에 대한 민감성을 매개로 하여 사람, 사물 및 세상과 의사소통하며 아름다움을 경험하고, 지식과 정보의 습득 및 타인의 정서를 이해하고 표현할 수 있는 영유아의 능력’이다. 본 연구는 음악영재성을 종합적으로 개념화하고, 유아 음악영재성을 영유아기의 전반적 발달 영역에 영향을 미치는 보편적 능력으로 개념화함으로써, 예비 영유아 교사교육과 유아 음악교육의 실제에 의미 있는 시사점을 제공하고 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to conceptualize musical giftedness and musical giftedness in young children as a domain-general ability. The main research method used the literature analysis technique. In order to conceptualize musical giftedness and musical giftedness in young children, the constructs of the musical giftedness appeared in domestic and overseas research papers and specialized academic journals was analyzed and categorized. In order to conceptualize musical giftedness in young children, the relationship between early childhood development and music was explored. The research results are as follows; First, musical giftedness consists of musical aptitude, musical motivation, musical creativity. And, when this is combined with the element of opportunity, musical excellence is exerted. Second, musical giftedness in early childhood is to experience aesthetic by communicating with people, objects, the world through sensitivity to sound(tone). And, it is an early childhood ability to acquire knowledge and information through sensitivity to sound and to understand and express the emotions of others. The significance of this study is as follows; The conceptual difference between the musical giftedness and the musical giftedness in early childhood was derived, and the musical giftedness in early childhood was conceptualized as a domain-general ability that affects the overall development area of early childhood. And it suggest the directions of teaching and learning for music education early childhood.
