영유아교사의 민주적인 학급경영에 대한 인식과 실태

Early Childhood Teachers’ Recognition and Actual Condition of Democratic Classroom Management

본 연구는 현직 영유아교사의 민주적인 학급경영에 대한 인식과 실태를 알아보는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D시와 C도를 중심으로 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 현직 영유아교사 203명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 2020년 2월 10일부터 2월 29일까지 걸쳐 배부 및 회수하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, One way ANOVA, Scheffé를 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아교사의 일반적 배경변인에 따른 민주적인 학급경영에 대한 인식 및 실태를 분석한 결과, 영유아교사의 경력, 학력, 근무 기관 설립유형에 따라 민주적인 학급경영 인식에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영유아교사의 학력, 근무유형, 근무기관 설립유형에 따라 민주적인 학급경영 실태에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아교사의 민주적 학급경영에 관한 인식과 실태의 차이를 분석한 결과 학급경영의 하위영역인 교육과정 운영, 교육환경과 시설관리, 교사와 영유아의 관계, 건강과 안전지도, 지역사회 연계 및 협력에서 실태보다 인식이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the early childhood teachers recognition and the actual condition about the democratic classroom management. To this end, it administered questionnaires to 203 early childhood teachers working in kindergartens and daycare centers around D City and C Province. The questionnaires were distributed them and returned from Feb. 20 to Feb. 29, 2020. In the analysis method used SPSS 22.0 for frequency and percentage analysis, average, standard deviation t-test. One-way ANOVA, Scheffé analysis. The findings can be summarized. First, as a result of analyzing the recognition of democratic classroom management there were differences according to the general background variables of early childhood teachers, perception was revealed according career, educational background and type of establishment of a working institution. In the actual condition, there were differences according to educational background, type of work, and type of institution establishment of early childhood teachers. Second, as a result of analyzing differences in recognition and actual conditions of democratic classroom management of early childhood teachers, curriculum operation, which is a sub-area of classroom management, educational environment and facility management, relationship between teachers and young children, health and safety guidance, and community connection. All in the area of cooperation, the perception was higher than the actual situation, and there were significant differences.
