보육교사 양성과정에 대한 현직 경력보육교사들의 개선 요구

A demand for child care teacher training course improvement by current child care teachers : Centered on current child care career teachers with more than 5 years experience

본 연구는 5년 이상 현직 경력 보육교사들의 보육현장 경험을 통해 보육교사 양성과정에 대한 개선요구를 심층적으로 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 5년 이상 현직 경력 보육교사 10명이며, 2019년 6월 21일부터 10월 31일까지 총 3회의 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 보육교사 양성과정에 대한 현직 경력보육교사들의 개선요구는 보육교사 자질과 인성교육 강화 및 인ㆍ적성 검사 필수ㆍ의무화, 보육교사 자격 기준 강화를 통한 전문성 향상, 보육교사 양성 과정 전문학과제도 및 평가, 체계화ㆍ표준화된 공통 교육과정 개발 및 적용, 보육교사 양성과정의 교수진 자격 강화 및 수업의 질, 실습의 효율적 운영 및 실습 강화, 실습지도 교사에 대한 자격 강화 및 실습지도 인원 조정, 실습내용에 대한 표준 프로그램과 매뉴얼 및 교육으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 실질적으로 보육현장에서 필요한 보육교사의 양성은 어떻게 이루어져야 하는지에 대한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 보육교사 양성과정의 개선을 위한 기초자료 제공으로서의 의의를 갖는다.

The purpose of this study is to examine in-depth the demand for improvement of the training course for child care teachers through the experience of child care teachers with more than 5 years of experience in the field. The subjects of the study were 10 current child care teachers with more than five years of experience, and a total of three in-depth interviews were conducted from June 21 to October 31, 2019. According to the study, current career child care teacher’s demand for improvement in child care teacher training courses is reinforcement the quality and personality education of child care teachers, mandatory personality·aptitude test, Improving professionalism by reinforcement the qualification criteria for child care teachers, Curriculum System and Evaluation of child care teacher’s training course, Development and Application of Systematic and Standardized Common Curriculum, enhancing the qualifications of faculty members of the child care teacher training course and quality of classes, Efficient operation of practice training and enhancing of practice training, reinforcing qualifications for practical guidance teachers and adjust the number of practical guidance teachers, Standard programs, manuals, and education about practical training content. The results of this study can be used as basic data on how the training of child care teachers required at child care sites should be done, and it is meaningful as a provision of basic data to improve the problems of the child care teacher training process.
