문화유산 디지털지도체계 구축을 위한 제언

Suggestions for Building Digital Map System of Cultural Heritage : Based on the Prototype of Digital Map System for Pyongyang and Cheongju

공공기관의 디지털공간에 공개된 문화유산 관련 (공간)정보가 과도하게 소략하여, 문화유산을 체계적ㆍ종합적으로 파악하기 어려운 점을 지적하면서, 그 문제해결의 일환으로 ‘디지털지도체계’ 구축을 제안한다. 디지털지도체계는 개별 문화유산에 대한 속성 데이터베이스, 공간정보에 의거해 작성되는 디지털지도, 외부 情報源과의 연계체계를 포괄하는 지도체계이다. 본고는 새로이 구축될 ‘체계’가 탄력성을 담보하면서 기존의 디지털공간보다는 훨씬 많은정보를 포괄해야 한다는 점을 강조한다. 아울러, 실제로 디지털지도체계가 구축되는 상황에서설명문의 작성, 체계의 구성 및 관리방식에 대한 몇 가지 학술적ㆍ기술적 사항들을 제안한다.

Pointing out that geographical information relevant to cultural heritage in the digital space provided by governmental and public organization is not sufficient or properly managed, we suggest building ‘digital map system’ to solving the problem. The digital map system of cultural heritage incorporates property database of cultural heritage, digital map based on spatial information and relational path to other information sources. We emphasize that to-be-build system should have flexibility in renewing and adding new data and provide much more information than current systems. In addition, we suggest, in academic and technical terms, several things in relation to describing characteristics of cultural heritage at issue, structuring and managing the new system.
