개성 만월대 디지털기록관 자료 활용을 위한 IT기술 적용 연구

A Study on the Application of IT to Use the Data of the Digital Archive for Manwoldae in Gaesong

현재 여러 박물관들은 다양한 유구와 유물, 유적을 모두 망라하여 정보를 제공하고, 다양한콘텐츠를 구축함으로써 여러 계층의 이용자 접근을 고려하고 있다. 하지만 만월대 디지털기록관은 고려 왕궁이라는 단일시대의 궁궐 유구만을 대상으로 함으로써 일부 사용자만의접근이 이루어질 수밖에 없는 한계가 있다. 물론 깊이 있는 연구와 콘텐츠의 제작으로 이어질수 있지만, 아직 그에 대한 구체적 논의와 성과물 제작은 없는 실정이다. 따라서 일반 다수의접근을 유도하기 위한 방안이 요구되며, 그러한 방안의 하나로서 최신 IT기술을 이용한 자료의적극적 활용과 제작이 필요하다. 따라서 국내외 박물관 및 미술관의 홈페이지 내 디지털 자료의 구축과 IT기술을 적용한사례들을 살펴보고, 이를 비교 분석하여 만월대 디지털기록관의 적용 가능성에 대한 기술적방안을 파악하였다. 또한 기록관 내 실제 자료를 이용하여 IT기술의 적용을 통한 3D 콘텐츠물의 제작 가능성에 대해서도 살펴보았다. 콘텐츠 제작은 유구의 3D화를 우선 생각할 수 있는데, 이는 방대한 이미지 자료를 바탕으로 할 수 있다. 여기에 일부 구축된 자료의 누락에 따른제작물 결함을 보완하기 위해 3D스캔 자료를 이용하여 3D 유구의 고도화를 진행할 수 있다. 이렇게 구축된 콘텐츠 자료는 웹VR 및 XR방식 등의 홈페이지 제작을 통해 다양한 계층의접근을 유도할 수 있으며, 나아가 가상유적 전시관 및 가상 박물관의 모습과 체험 형태의홈페이지로 전환할 수 있다면 만월대 디지털 기록관의 접근과 활용은 높아질 것이다.

Currently, all museums provide information on a variety of relics and artifices and create diverse content from them to facilitate their access to various social groups. However, Manwoldae Digital Archive can limit its access to only some users as it treats the relics of the royal palace from one single era of Goryeo. This could lead to in-depth research and content, but no specific discussions have been made and no content has been created in that regard. Accordingly, plans must be created to encourage the general public’s access. One such plan would have to involve the active utilization and production of data that tap into IT. The study examined the cases in which digital data were created and IT was applied to the websites of local and international museums and art museums. The surveys were analyzed to identify a technical solution to apply the same methods to Manwoldae Digital Archive. Furthermore, the study considered the possible creation of 3D content that taps into the data of the archive and IT applications. For content creation, 3D conversion of relics may take first priority and is based on images. The paper also discusses a plan to upgrade 3D relics that use both images and 3D scanned data to address the shortcomings of the content caused by omissions in some of the created data. The content thus created can be provided from the website in the form of webVR/XR to encourage usage by various social groups. If the website develops from there to be converted to an experiential website by creating a virtual heritage exhibition room and a virtual museum, access to and use of the Manwoldae Digital Archive will be upgraded.
