The Effects of Person-Job Fit and Career Identity on the Organizational Commitment of New Officials: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Organizational Culture

This study investigated the direct effects of person-job fit and career identity on organizational commitment for new Low-Ranking officials in primary local government, and empirically analyzed the moderating effects of internally-oriented organizational culture. As a result of the analysis, It was confirmed that the person-job fit and career identity of new Low-Ranking officials in primary local government positively influenced the organizational commitment. Also, the higher the level of relationship-oriented culture, the higher the organizational commitment of new Low-Ranking officials in primary local government. In addition, it was found that there is a negative moderating effect of the relationship-oriented culture on person-job fit and organizational commitment.
