학습자 질문중심 하브루타 수업이 예비유아교사의 비판적사고 성향과 학습몰입에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Learner s Question-Centered Havruta Class on Preservice Early Childhood Teachers Critical Thinking Propensity and Learning Commitment

본 연구는 학습자 질문중심 하브루타 수업이 예비유아교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 학습몰입에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 G시에 있는 N대학, D대학 유아교육과 재학 중인 1학년 대상으로 유아교육과 전공과목인 ‘아동미술’ 강의를 수강하는 50명(실험집단 25명, 비교집단 25명)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실험기간은 2019년 9월 2일부터 12월 6일까지 13주 동안 총 13회기를 실시하였다. 예비유아교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 학습몰입에 대한 효과를 분석하기 위해 첫째, 두 집단간의 동질성 검증과 정규성 검증을 실시하였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 학습몰입에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위하여 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 하였다. 그 결과, 학습자 질문중심 하브루타 수업이 비판적 사고 성향과 학습몰입에서 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사들이 학습자 질문중심 하브루타 수업을 통해 미래 유아교육현장과 관련된 주제를 비판적 사고를 가지고 토론하고 학습몰입을 통해 직·간접적으로 유아교육에 영향을 줄 수 있는 교수-학습방법임을 시사해 준다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of learner s question-centered havruta class on preservice early childhood teachers’ critical thinking propensity and learning commitment. For this purpose, this study was conducted for 50 students taking the Children’s Art course, which is a major subject in the Early Childhood Education (25 in the experimental group and 25 in the control group) of the first-year students enrolled in the Department of Early Childhood Education of N University and D University located in G City. The experiment was conducted for 13 weeks between September, 2, 2019 and December 6, 2019. To analyze the effects of preservice early childhood teachers’ critical thinking propensity and learning commitment, first, homogeneity and normality tests between the two groups were performed. Second, covariate analysis (ANCOVA) was performed to investigate the effects of preservice early childhood teachers’ critical thinking propensity and learning commitment. In the results, the learner s question-oriented havruta class showed significant improvement in critical thinking propensity and learning commitment. These results suggest that the learner s question-centered havruta class is a teaching-learning method that allows preservice early childhood teachers to discuss topics related to early childhood education with critical thinking, and directly and indirectly affect early childhood education through learning commitment.
