발달장애학생 미디어 리터러시 교육을 위한 백워드 설계 적용 단원 개발에 대한 연구

A Study on the Development of Backward Design Application Unit for Media Literacy Education for Students with Developmental Disabilities -Focused on Basic Curriculum of Special Education on Korean Language Department-

본 연구는 발달장애학생을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육을 위해 백워드 설계를 적용하여 기본교육과정 국어과를 중심으로 단원을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2020년 3월부터 7월까지 미디어 리터러시 교육의 개념과 하위 수행목표를 확인하고 발달장애학생을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육에서 백워드 단원 개발의 의미를 확인하는 문헌연구 및 단원개발을 실시하였다. 연구결과 미디어 리터러시 단원을 다음과 같이 개발하였다. 첫째, 기본교육과정 국어과 성취기준을 미디어 리터러시 수행목표와 비교하여 분류한 후 백워드 설계의 절차에 따라 영속적 이해를 기반으로 목표를 설정하였다. 둘째, 영속적 이해를 바탕으로 평가를 위해 수행과제와 평가 루브릭을 제작하였다. 셋째, 목표와 평가를 위한 수업계획을 차시별로 수립하였다. 이와 같은 단원개발은 특수교육 현장에서 발달장애학생을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육의 실행을 촉진할 수 있으며 교육과정에 근거한 실효성 있는 미디어 리터러시 교육을 이끌어낼 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the unit around the basic curriculum Korean language department in order to derive specific methods by applying Backward design to implement media literacy education for students with developmental disabilities. Through the study of literature, the concept and sub-performance objectives of media literacy education were identified and the necessity of developing Backward units in media literacy education for students with developmental disabilities were examined, thereby laying the theoretical foundation for the development of the unit. The basic curriculum Korean language and achievement criteria were classified by comparing them with the media literacy performance goals, and the goals were set based on the continuous understanding according to the Backward design procedures and the performance tasks and evaluation rubric were produced for evaluation. Finally, class plans for goals and evaluations were established on a daily basis. Such unit development can facilitate the implementation of media literacy education for students with developmental disabilities at special education sites and lead to effective media literacy education based on the curriculum.
