공유주택에 대한 친환경 계획의 개념과 특성 연구

A Study on the concept and characteristics of eco-friendly plans for cohousing : Focused on the British cohousing as an example

본 연구는 코하우징에 대한 친환경 주거계획 요소들의 적용 방향 고찰 및 시사점 도출을 목적으로 한다. 사례는 에코라이프스타일, 자급자족, 환경에 영향이 적은 커뮤니티를 주된 계획 특징으로 하고있는 영국 코하우징 중에서 선별하였다. 연구는 이론적 고찰을 통한 코하우징의 계획 특성, 주요 적용 요소들을 도출하여, 영국 코하우징 사례 중 본 연구 의도에 부합하는 3가지의 사례를 조사분석하고, 코하우징에서의 친환경 주거를 실현하는 방식에 대한 시사점을 도출했다. 이러한 과정을 통해 얻은 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 친환경 주거로서 코하우징의 배치계획은 주택, 외부공간, 공동생활시설 등 구성요소별 유기적 연결을 통해 자연친화적 주거 환경이 조성된다. 둘째, 코하우징 개인주택은 ‘건강’, ‘조화’, ‘절약’ 등 친환경 주거 개념을 총체적으로 실현할 수 있다. 셋째, 주택과 공동생활공간(Common House)이 상호보완적 관계에서 ‘에너지 절감 및 자원 절약’이 실현될 수 있다. 넷째, 공유공간(Shared Space)의 공간 계획은 친환경 주거계획 요소 도입으로 실현된다.

Studies on cohousing that present physical planning characteristics are rare although cohousing that has appeared since the 2000s adopts eco - friendly elements. This paper aims to construct the definition and extract the concept of the eco-friendly cohousing focused on the physical characteristics in terms of residence. The findings will be used as a basic data for the residence planning in domestic eco-friendly cohousing. The paper reviews previous literature on cohousing and eco-friendly residence to establish the concept and the elements from environment-friendly residence planning. 3 target cases in the UK were selected to analyze. The major findings of this paper are as follows. 1)The layout plan of cohousing as an eco-friendly residence planning creates a nature-friendly residential environment through connection by components such as dwelling, common house and shared space. 2)Dwelling can be planned to apply to all the concept of eco-friendly residence planning such as “improvement of residents’ health and amenity” “natural harmony,” and “energy and resources saving”. 3)Dwelling and common house can achieve the goal “energy and resources saving” through complement each other. 4)The design of shared space should be planned through applying to the eco-friendly residential planning elements.
