WHODAS 2.0 국내 적용에 대한 고찰

A review of WHODAS 2.0 application in Korea

Objective: This study aims to review the utilization of WHODAS 2.0 as the Ministry of Health and Welfare states that WHODAS 2.0 will be covered by government health Insurance from 2020. Method: This literature review focuses on the background of WHODAS 2.0 development, it’s the application in other countries and previous studies in Korea. Results: WHODAS 2.0 was developed based on the ICF model which occurred the paradigm sift of disability and health. WHODAS 2.0 evaluate a person’s disability-related to his or her function and activities. Taiwan applied WHODAS 2.0 to national disabilities database and identified various functional characteristic according to the type of disabilities. Last decade, Korea researchers have tried to apply WHODAS 2.0 to various disability study. Conclusion: It is suggested that as the health Act of people with disability was published in 2020, health professionals use WHODAS 2.0 in the various area so that more enhanced health promotion focusing on the function and life for people of disabilities.
