대동합방론의 출판과 재판 그리고 전유 과정

Publishing and Appropriation Process of National Union Theory

다루이 도키치의 대동합방론은 유교의 이상적 가치를 토대로 아시아 국가의 연대와 일본의 침략주의를 동시에 포함하고 있다. 기존 연구는 당대의 사상적 흐름에 주목하는가, 이후의 일본 침략주의의 확대 과정에 주목하는가에 따라서 평가를 달리했다. 반면 이 책의 담론지형과 한국에서의 수용 그리고 다루이 도키치 사후 이 책이 반복적으로 소환됐던 과정에 대한 고찰은 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 이글은 기존 연구를 토대로 1910년을 전후하여 대동합방론이 출판, 재판, 일본어 번역, 영인 되었던 상황을 고찰한다. 나아가 1910년 강제병합 직전 대한제국사회에서 이 책이 어떻게 전유 되고 있었는지를 함께 고찰한다. 이를 토대로 이시기 지역 질서 구상의 의미를 이해하는데 기여하고자 한다.

Daridokichi s theory of Daedong annexation is based on the ideal values of Confucianism, which includes both the solidarity of Asian countries and Japanese aggression. Existing studies have different assessments depending on whether they pay attention to the ideological trend of the time or to the process of further expansion of Japanese aggression. On the other hand, few considerations have been made about the discourse of the book, its acceptance in Korea, and the process in which it has been repeatedly summoned since the death of Daridokichi. Based on existing research, this article examines the situation in which the theory of the Great East Joints was published, reissued, translated into Japanese, and recognized around 1910. Furthermore, we look at how this book was being inherited by the Korean Empire society just before the forced annexation in 1910. Based on this, we intend to contribute to understanding the meaning of regional order initiatives at this time.
