부모의 심리적 통제와 우울의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 속박감의 매개효과

The Mediating Effects of Internalized shame and Entrapment on the Relationships between Parental Psychological Control and Depression

본 연구에서는 부모의 심리적 통제가 우울에 미치는 영향에서 내면화된 수치심과 속박감의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 400명을 대상으로 2016년 10월 한 달간 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사된 자료를 이용하여 부모의 심리적 통제가 대학생의 우울에 영향을 미치는 경로에 내면화된 수치심과 속박감의 매개효과를 가정하고 구조모형을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부의 심리적 통제, 모의심리적 통제, 내면화된 수치심, 속박감, 우울 간에 모두 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 구조방정식 분석 결과, 부와 모의 심리적 통제와 우울의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 속박감이 이중 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 심리적 통제를 높게 지각할수록 내면화된 수치심에 영향을 끼쳐 우울이 높아질 수 있으며, 심리적 통제는 수치심에 영향을 주고 이는 다시 속박감을 증가시켜 우울로 이어질 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들이 우울을 경험할 때 부모와의 관계 문제를 호소하는 경우, 수치심과 속박감을 탐색해봐야 할 필요성이 있으며, 이를 통한 치료적 개입이 효과를 낼 수 있을 가능성을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과의 의의와 제한점, 제언을 논의하였다.

This study was intended to examine the relationship between parental psychological control and depression along with the mediating effects of internalized shame and entrapment. The data was collected through a survey with 400 male and female undergraduate students. The measure the variables of this study, we used the Scale for Psychological Control Scale(PCS), the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression(CES-D), the Internalized Shame Scale(ISS), Entrapment Scale(ES). Correlation Analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling were used to analyze the data. The results of the data are like below. First, there were significantly correlations among parental psychological control, depression, internalized shame, and entrapment. Second, the result showed that internalized shame and entrapment fully mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and depression. Lastly, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
