대학생의 신체활동량, 자아존중감, 대인관계만족도 및 스마트폰 중독의 관계

The Relationship of Smartphone Addiction with Physical Activity, Self-esteem, Satisfaction for Interpersonal Relationships among University Students.

본 연구는 부산, 경남 지역의 대학생의 신체활동량, 자아존중감, 대인관계만족도와 스마트폰 중독 정도의 관계를 확인하여 스마트폰 중독을 예방하는 프로그램 개발 및 연구의 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구는 서술적 상관관계 연구로서, 부산, 경남 지역 4년제 25개 대학교의 재학생 469명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2019년 4월 26일부터 4월 28일까지였다. 자료분석은 기술통계, 다중응답분석, Independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe&#769; test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient를 사용하였다. 연구 대상자의 신체활동량은 저강도군이 239명(82.4%)으로 가장 많았으며, 신체활동 시간을 보고한 대상자(n=290)의 MET-minutes 점수는 평균 2417.37±2820.93이었다. 자아존중감은 35.70±7.60점(50점 만점), 대인관계만족도는 80.46±5.72점(130점 만점), 스마트폰 중독 정도는 35.20±5.15점(60점 만점)으로 나타났다. 일반적 특성 및 스마트폰 이용행태에 따른 스마트폰 중독 정도의 차이는 성별과 사용시간에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.001). 또한, 스마트폰 중독 정도는 신체활동량(r=-.134, p=.004), 자아존중감(r=-.231, p<.000)과는 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 대인관계만족도와는 유의한 상관성이 없었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로, 스마트폰 중독 예방 프로그램을 기획할 때 신체활동량과 자아존중감을 강화하는 전략을 포함하는 것이 필요하다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the relationship between the level of physical activity, self-esteem, satisfaction for interpersonal relationships, and smartphone addiction. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used, with 469 students from 25 four-year universities in Busan and Gyeongnam. Data were collected from April 26 to April 28, 2019. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple response analysis, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe&#769; test, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: There was a significant difference in the level of smartphone addiction according to gender and cell phone usage time (p<.001). Physical activity (r=-.134, p=.004) and self-esteem (r=-.231, p<.001) were significantly negatively correlated with smartphone addiction levels. Conclusions: When designing the prevention program for smartphone addiction, It is necessary to consider making both physical activity and self-esteem enhance.
