청소년의 성폭력 피해 경험이 자살생각에 미치는 영향

The Influence of Adolescents Experiences of Sexual Violence on Suicidal Thoughts: Focusing on the Moderated Mediating Effects of Depression and Parental Neglect

자살은 우리 사회의 중요한 사회문제이고 그 원인으로는 여러 요인이 작용하지만, 성폭력 피해 경험이 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 연구는 많지 않다. 그래서 본연구는 성폭력 피해 경험이 우울과 부모 방임의 조절된 매개효과를 중심으로 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 청소년정책연구원의 2017년 아동청소년 인권실태조사연구 자료인 2차 데이터를 참조하여 성폭력 피해 경험, 우울, 부모 방임, 자살생각 등의 자료를 바탕으로 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 성폭력 피해 경험, 부모 방임, 우울, 자살생각을 측정하였고, SPSS 23.0과 SPSS PROCESS 3.4.1을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성폭력 피해 경험은 자살생각에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 우울을 매개로 자살생각에 영향을 미쳐 부분 매개 모형을 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 우울은 부모 방임의 수준에 따라 자살생각에 미치는영향이 다르게 나타나 부모 방임의 조절 효과가 검증되었다. 셋째, 성폭력 피해경험이 우울을 매개로 자살생각에 미치는 매개효과는 부모 방임 수준이 높을수록그 효과가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 몇가지 시사점과 한계점을 제시하였다.

Suicide is an important social problem in our society and various factors are the cause of it, but there are few studies in which the experience of sexual violence affects suicidal thoughts. Therefore, this study attempted to confirm the effect of sexual violence victim experience on suicidal thoughts, focusing on the moderated mediating effect of depression and parental neglect. To this end, this study was conducted based on data on sexual violence victimization experiences, depression, neglect of parents, and suicidal thoughts, referring to the secondary data of the Youth Policy Research Institute s 2017 study on human rights of children and adolescents. This study measured sexual violence victim experience, parental neglect, depression, and suicidal thoughts, and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and SPSS PROCESS 3.4.1. The summary of the results of this study is as follows. First, it was found that the experience of victimization of sexual violence not only directly affects suicidal thoughts, but also influences suicidal thoughts through depression, thus supporting the partial mediated model. Second, depression had different effects on suicidal thoughts according to the level of parental neglect, and the moderating effect of parental neglect was verified. Third, the mediating effect of sexual violence victim experience on suicidal thoughts through depression was found to increase as the level of parental neglect increased. Based on these research results, this study presented some implications and limitations.
