생활문화교육에 대한 한국어 학습자와 교사의 요구도 비교 연구

A Comparative Study on the Needs of Korean Language Learners and Teachers for Living Culture Education

본 연구의 목적은 교육의 진정한 주체인 학습자와 외국인 학습자를 위한 한국어 문화교육을 하는 교사의 교육 요구를 비교 분석하여 향후 교육과정에 반영하기 위한 것이다. 즉, 한국 문화교육에 필요한 학습자와 교사의 교육 요구를 조사하고 분석하여 향후 한국어 문화교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국어교육과 관련된 학습자와 교사의 교육수요를 조사하기 위한 설문 조사를 2020년 10월 10일부터 2020년 10월 19일에 걸쳐 기관을 방문하거나 메일 형식으로 배부하고 회수하였다. 그리고 설문 조사를 통해 응답한 103명의 학습자와 10명의 교사의 답변을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자의 요구도는 수업 관련, 공동생활, 주거 관련, 아르바이트, 학교시설 이용 관련 항목 순으로 도출하였다. 둘째, 교사의 요구는 주거 관련, 아르바이트 관련, 언어(대안 언어), 언어(사과 등), 수업 관련 항목 순으로 도출되었다. 결과적으로, 학습자들은 좋은 점수를 얻고 그들의 공부를 지속시키는 데 필요한 항목들에 대한 높은 교육적 요구를 가지고 있었다. 반면, 교사의 경우 중도 탈락하지 않고 한국어를 빨리 배울 수 있도록 돕는 항목에 대한 교육 수요가 높다. 이 때문에 학습자와 교사의 교육요구도 순위는 다르게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the educational needs of teachers who provide Korean culture education for learners and foreign learners who are the true subjects of education and reflect them in future education courses. In other words, the educational needs of learners and teachers needed for Korean culture education were investigated and analyzed to derive implications for future Korean culture education. To this end, a survey was conducted to investigate the educational needs of learners and teachers related to Korean language education from October 10, 2020 to October 19, 2020 to visit institutions or distribute and retrieve them in e-mail format. A survey was conducted to investigate the educational needs of learners and teachers related to Korean language education, and 103 learners and 10 teachers who responded through the survey were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: First, the learners requirements were derived in order of class-related, communal living, residential, part-time, and school facility use. Second, the teacher s needs were derived in order of housing-related, part-time-related, language (alternative language), language (apology, etc.), and class-related items. As a result, learners had high educational needs for the items needed to get good grades and continue their studies. On the other hand, there is a high demand for education on items that help teachers learn Korean quickly without dropping out. Because of this, the educational needs of learners and teachers were different.
