코로나19 팬데믹 이후 사회적 거리 두기, 봉쇄, 국가 배급, 재난기본소득지급 등 비상한 조치들을 경험하면서, 시장경제와 다른 대안적인 삶과 자원관리 방식이 가능하다는 인식이 확산되고, 자본주의 체제와 근본적으로 다른 대안을 사고하는 것이 그 어느 때보다 현실적으로 되었다. 코로나19 팬데믹 위기는 인류와 사회를 존재의 위기로 몰아 넣으면서, 다른 한편에서 포스트자본주의 요청과 경향을 강화, 가속하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 오늘날 자본주의의 총체적 위기의 조건에서 새롭게 부상하고 있는 포스트자본주의 담론을 가속주의, 좌파 기본소득, 커먼주의, 디지털 사회주의, 탈성장 공산주의 등을 중심으로 검토한다. 이런 작업은 개혁주의와 성장주의의 프레임에 갇혀 있는 현재 한국의 진보좌파의 담론의 지평을 확장하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다.
Under the COVID-19 pandemics, experiencing extraordinary measures such as social distancing, lockdown, rationing, and disaster basic income payments etc, there emerge a widespread perception that alternative way of life and resource allocation methods are possible. It becomes more realistic than ever to imagin the alternatives to capitalism. The COVID-19 pandemic is driving humanity and society into an existential crisis, while simultaneously increasing the demands for postcapitalism and accelerating the tendency toward it. This article attempts to evaluate the recent discourses on postcapitalism, including Accelerationism, ‘Left’ Basic Income, Commonism, Digital Socialism, and Degrowth Communism. This work is expected to help extend the horizon of the progressive left in Korea, currently locked in the frame of reformism and growthism.
