Plug-In Components and GUI-based Tool Development for Parallel and Distributed Simulation Environments

Recently, the simulation-based battle experimentation becomes increasingly important for the Simulation-Based Acquisition. The simulation-based experimentation needs a variety of environment from stochastic simulation to linkage with real weapon systems. Therefore the environment which can help to configure various types of simulation rapidly and to collect simulation result is essential for effective battle experimentation. In this study, we propose GUI-based parallel simulation environments that perform the stochastic simulation. In addition, the plug-in based framework makes easy configuration for execution of distributed simulation environments. In this paper, we describe an architecture and functions about tools for configuring parallel and distributed simulation environments.
